Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Dolphin Sands

Absolute highlight of our trip, this stay was like a holiday within our holiday so relaxing and everything about the property was well thought out and luxurious. The only thing I would change is that next time we will stay longer.

The house was perfect for a lovely relaxing week away with a young family. The fully fenced backyard overlooking the reserve was a perfect backdrop to enjoy the peace and quiet of Scamander. We walked to the river each day, played on the large open space outside the back fence. The fireplace was a nice change of pace. Thanks for having us

Gail was a kind and generous host. The house was so clean, spacious and well laid out. An incredibly well stocked kitchen, pantry and shelves full of games, books and toys was a delightful surprise. My partner and I loved staying at Lisa and Mick’s beautiful beach house. The house and the view is amazing. We sat and looked at the stars every night with a glass of wine. We felt like we were in our own little private oasis. The beach is stunning. One afternoon I came across a seal having a nap on the sand! The house had everything we needed and is a short drive to Swansea so getting groceries was easy. We also went into Swansea one night for dinner. We hired a car so we could explore nearby wineries and wine glass bay. We would definitely recommend for a beautiful, quiet and relaxing getaway :)

We loved everything about our stay - couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing getaway. Incredibly peaceful, beautiful property - waking up to the sunrise and wallabies hopping around. Wish we could have stayed longer. House was fully set up for a stay of any length and Adam was a wonderful communicator. Thank you for sharing your property, we hope we can return one day.

This was a great place for a family gathering of 2 couples, 4 singles and 3 children. We all found beds (with a bit of adaptability)over the 5 sleeping rooms The gathering areas were good also, with two slightly separate seating areas within the one big space so the chn could play on their screens away from us. The table tennis table was also a great hit. It was lovely that all 11 of us could sit around the dining table for meals. Outside sitting areas were also very comfortable. The beach was just a bit of a walk from the back door through a well defined bush track. Swansea provided a great IGA for meal prep and a nice coffee shop or two. A lovely holiday. Thank you Donnalee and Pete. You were great hosts.

This was one of the best Airbnbs I have ever been to. The location was amazing, since it was close to both Ben Lomond and Launceston, while still remaining incredibly serene and private. The wifi connection was the strongest I had seen for my entire trip through Tasmania, which was a pleasant relief. My only regret was not spending more time there. If I ever come back to Tasmania, I will make sure to spend at least 4 or 5 nights at the Airbnb, and do day trips out from there. Saw a spectacular display of the Aurora Australis at night as well!

I am almost beyond words. Our stay at Rob and Eliza's stunning home can only be described as pure magic. The house, the details, the grounds, the private access to the most incredible, breathtaking and awe-inspiring view has left all of us recharged and in love with this beautiful location and home. We did not want to leave to even see the sights. Climbing around on the beautiful rocks and admiring the view, it felt like we were ontop of the world. The home was exceptionally special, Rob and Eliza even had some items in the pantry and fridge - actually more than some and it absolutely MADE our stay (especially with two little ones and lots of hungry mouths). It just made the airbnb experience easy and so comfortable and special and it did not go unnoticed. We stayed after a wedding with our family and the brides and it was the ultimate place to unwind and breathe in. The kids found starfish, rock hopped for days and searched for wildlife. 200 out of 10. We will be back!
