Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Dix Hills

We had a great stay at Jennifer’s place in Port Jeff! She sent us prompt and proactive messages with all the information we needed for our 2 night stay. It was very convenient to be able to walk everywhere we needed to go; from restaurants and cafes, to local shops and even the post office. The area was very picturesque and quaint… exactly what we were looking for!

We stayed at the Zen Retreat house for a week to celebrate Thanksgiving with family in the area. The home was very welcoming and cozy. The primary bed was very comfortable. There were a ton of pots and pans for us to cook our holiday meals. The hot tub was easy to use and we loved it. Brian was very responsive to any questions we had. For us the location was perfect and we would definitely stay here again.

This welcoming, cozy 2 floor has a nice kitchen size, well designed bedroom spaces, peaceful outdoor area and suited our needs well. We loved the privacy, enjoyed our visit and would certainly return for a longer stay.

Steve and Dorry made sure all our needs were met including recommending places to eat and things to do. They are an incredibly kind couple who care about the people who rent their home. Everything was exactly as we expected! we had a beautiful view and the house was very comfortable!

This Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice! It was beautifully decorated and had every possible amenity that a person would have in their own home. The host was very friendly and she thought of every detail to include in the Airbnb for her guests' use. It's right on the water and had stunning grounds... the furniture inside and out were beautiful and could accommodate a very large family. It was like staying in a resort. You can tell that the hostess took great pains to decorate, furnish, and equip the house with everything possible. It was a beautiful, wonderful stay. (and most notably, it was incredibly clean - specifically the linen and towels, and the entire kitchen, refrigerator, oven Etc. I stay in many airbnbs and this place was spotless. Worth every penny!

Everything was great about this Airbnb. It was exactly as advertised and had a homelike feel. It was clean, fully stocked, had great appliances, books to read, children’s games and toys, and a crib for infants. We spent a long weekend with our son’s and nieces’ families which included a 6 year old and a 5 month old. It felt like we were in our own home. It was the perfect space for our families to spend time together.

Great spot. House was as described. Great location for golfers playing Bethpage - 2 minutes away! And close to the LIRR.

Very nice address, quiet, spacious and with all amenities. 25 min walk to Gare Nord Ludlow, and close to bus stops. Thanks to Nancy for the welcome bottle! Bruno.

Erica's listing was very well kept - very clean and it had thoughtful care packages and additions throughout. My only note is that it was chilly in the space - I believe the heater is timed, but this spot is definitely worth the money. I would definitely stay here again.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay! Location is perfect and Jaime was incredibly friendly throughout!! He let me know that they had everything we would need.. but as a self-described obsessive packer I didnt listen. He wasn't kiding! They had beach chairs, umbrellas, and everything else you need for the perfect beach day. I brought an entire wagon of stuff and used one bag. It really is an awesome little find!!

Verona was wonderful! We were doing a long distance race and she allowed for a late check out so we could get more rest. She was super responsive and even let us use the hot tub! Highly recommend Veronas place.

Allison was awesome and responsive during my stay. The space was clean and had everything I needed. I loved walking to the boardwalk in the morning. Overall a really nice place.

Patrick was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed his downstairs apartment. We were a little confused during checking but figured it out.

Only a thousand characters? Alright! Bridget’s place was phenomenal. First, the welcome basket was an incredible touch and personable— made us feel right at home. It’s in a very peaceful, quiet, and safe neighborhood where I felt very comfortable. There isn’t chaos, heavy traffic, or any sense of disruptiveness that you would find in a city. The place itself is incredibly cozy, comfortable, & genuinely a nice getaway if you’re looking for an ambient home in Long Island to isolate and be at peace. The bed is incredibly comfortable and Bridget has it stocked with everything you may need. Blankets? Pillows? All within reach. She’s got an incredible attention to detail & has the place stocked with everything you would need as if it were your own home from cookware, to silverware, to personal amenities, and other necessities that you might need. Chances are that if you wanted to have a home away from home, this place is the true epitome of it. Truly an amazing stay! We will return 100%.

This location was ideal for my Thanksgiving weekend visit. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants and a nice view of Stamford from the balcony.

We had a great stay at this apartment. It was very tidy and the photos matched the listing. We appreciated the water, coffee and biscotti left by the host. The apartment was close to downtown and walking distance to multiple places including a pharmacy.

A great alternative to Manhattan prices. We were there to watch someone in the marathon and refused to pay the inflated city rates. The location offered 3 convenient ways to get into the city -- Ferry, bus, and PATH train (check maintenance outages in advance!) It was a 15 minute walk to the PATH, then a 15 min ride to 33rd street (a route also goes to the World Trade Center). We spent one evening walking along Washington St. and the beautiful Hudson River walking path that has unbelievable views of the Manhattan skyline. If we had more time, we would have explored further down towards Jersey City. The apartment itself is quiet and so nicely designed -- just like the pictures. There is a very well-lit, safe, parking garage 1/2 block away on 1st street that was $42/24 hours. We were able to leave the car for the entire stay and just use public transportation. We will return!

Ann was kind and accommodating. She allowed my friends and I to drop our belongings off before check in to be sure we did not have to carry them around the city. She made me feel so seen and celebrated as I was in the city for my birthday. Very responsive, very gracious. I’ll be back if I’m in the city again!

Perfect spot for 3 couples to stay and enjoy the city together, would be helpful to have another key fob when the group splits up in addition to more accurate location when booking. Great space to spread out and rest between adventures! We loved it

My family and I’s stay was amazing! It was a great location with lots of places to eat and things to do, however it also felt private which we loved! The place matched the pictures, very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this spot and if I’m ever in Brooklyn again, there’s no question that this is where I’ll be staying.

Oorja was a perfect host - very friendly and provided very detailed instructions and recommendations for our stay. The apartment was spotless and beautiful just like the pictures. Amenities just as described which were perfect for our stay. Great distance from the subway for easy access to the tourist hotspots. Nice views from the bedroom and living room windows. Would highly recommend and hope to come back and stay in the future!!

Becky’s place is such an amazing find. It is so close to everything that you may need and so easy to get into the city via the bus (2-3 minute walk to the bus stop!) or via PATH train. I felt really safe with my young family walking around, and there are lots of parks/playgrounds within a few minutes walk. Becky was really helpful whenever I reached out. We would have no hesitation in booking here again to be slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
