Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Detmold

Those who want to be quiet and beautiful are in good hands there. We had 2 wonderful days at this house with 3 kids and dog. Great and very tastefully decorated...

Very lovingly and tastefully furnished cottage that was sparkling clean. We didn't miss anything. Everyone, big or small, was taken care of. The fireplace and especially the sauna and massage chair made the stay perfect. The location of the cottage is ideal to take beautiful hikes and/and to relax in peace (wonderful this silence!). Andrea is a warm host, was always available and very helpful. We will be happy to come back.

There were three of us in the cute house and there was plenty of room. Perfect location right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Externsteine and a lot of beautiful hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest. Unreservedly recommended.

Staying in this beautiful half-timbered house is always a pleasure. The house looks fantastic and is wonderfully spacious. The surroundings are beautiful. Here you can stay in peace. From sunset onwards, we were able to watch deer on the other side of the Emmer every day. Absolutely recommended!

A quiet place to stay. Three individual apartments with flexible check-in. All very individually designed and cozy. Well equipped kitchen. Great for larger groups with common area but also privacy in the individual apartments. Quiet location on the field. Easy check-in and easy contact with Bernd. There was even a mid-week cleaning. Really a great place to stay where I was allowed to stay for 6 weeks. It matched the photos, description, and my expectations, and you really feel right at home. Despite the very central location it is really quiet and it offers a great retreat. Rewe is less than a two-minute walk away and the train station is also within walking distance. Only in winter now it was quite fresh in the attic, but it can be endured. I would definitely like to come back again and enjoyed my time there!

Dear Natalie, thank you. We had a great time and felt right at home. The highlight was the oven for the season and the nice atmosphere. The apartment is bright and stocked with everything you might need. We took a hike directly from the house to Velmerstot and the Externsteinen. Beautiful apartment – highly recommended! The apartment is very clean, tastefully furnished and offers comfortable beds for restful nights. The location is excellent – just a stone's throw to the Externsteine and with shopping options very close by. Communication with the landlord Michael was straightforward and friendly. We had a very pleasant stay at Hossam's. Check-in went smooth, the apartment is clean and well equipped, and the location is very convenient as its right next to a Ubahn station. Would recommend!

Great accommodation for a long weekend with seven people. Plenty of space, large garden, barbecue, and whatever else you need. 5 stars.

A fantastic, magical, cozy place to stay that we can fully recommend!! We were allowed to spend a family weekend here. It was wonderful for EVERYONE despite the age range of 16-82 years. In reality, the rooms are even nicer than in the photos. Even in the darker season it is very cozy here. The view of the castle is the icing on the cake. Contact with Anna was excellent. Thanks for the wonderful time here!

Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

A wonderful house in a beautiful area to come to peace and quiet! We really enjoyed the house, fireplace and nature right by the house. Beautifully located for nice walks and nice villages nearby. Nice owners!

We were allowed to spend very nice pleasantly quiet days in this house. The location is mega beautiful, secluded.. idyllic. Amenities are very consistent. Check-in and check-out was contactless. The house is exactly as described. What my previous writer wrote, regarding noisy... I can only confirm. It's really very noisy. But overall: mega nice. Thank you.
