We had a lovely stay at Judith's. Judith is very warm and helpful. Responded directly to questions and assisted where possible. At the property there is a lovely garden with evening sun. The space itself is very neat and has great beds. Bathroom and kitchen (without cooking facilities) are functional. Balk and surroundings are beautiful!

super cozy & beautiful house. We had 2 really nice weeks there as a family. Everything very calm and relaxed, perfect for unwinding and slowing down. The pool within the complex was perfect for the child. Cycle with empty swimming beaches is only 20 minutes away. Arlien was always available as a host and very friendly. Very detailed instructions for arrival/departure!

We were visiting a relative in the area. The venue suited our needs very nicely. Home from home (once we got used to the stairs). A version of the Guidance Book in English would be very useful. If we venture into Drenthe again, we will certainly look to see if Irene’s home is available.

The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. Extremely beautiful and nice house. Were here with 4 adults and a baby. Top area for hiking and very nice petting zoo nearby with, among other things, alpacas. In the house it lacked nothing, everything you need was present. Nice spacious garden with BBQ that we have made a lot of use of. Much more beautiful than in the photos.
