Pet-friendly vacation rentals in De Cocksdorp

We liked Ron's place very much. Everything was as described. The living space was significantly larger than the photos suggested. The house is very centrally located, close to supermarket, bakery and restaurants. The way to the beach is also quite short. Nevertheless, the apartment is very quiet. We will be happy to come back.

Cottage matches the photos, even better (we didn't expect an entrance spacious enough to put our bikes under cover). Frootje is very responsive to messages and her mom welcomed us on arrival. Absolute calm, very clear environment, very pleasant living space, very good bedding. In the listing, there are 3 bedrooms, there are 4 (2 with double beds, separable if needed), and 2 with single beds. One of the double bedrooms is on the ground floor, which is good for people with difficulties with fairly steep stairs. Just so you know, the curtains could be blackout (in the bedrooms) for those who like darkness to sleep. And the toilet is located with the shower, a little annoying when you want to get ready in the morning. In short, a place to remember. Thank you for everything. Nadine

We spent very nice days in this beautiful house. The terrace directly on a small canal with a view over the meadows offered pure relaxation. The area is ideal for cycling along the canals and blooming tulip fields. Trudi was a very nice and attentive host. Thank you! Maria and Heiko

Great place for our family.

We had a great time in Loes's house and immediately felt very comfortable. There was nothing missing. The artistic and loving decor was absolutely to our taste. Loes is a very friendly and helpful host. We will be happy to come back.

We (5 friends+1 dog) had very nice days at the place. Great quiet rural location - surrounded by nature. Nevertheless, the way to Amsterdam is quick and easy (small tip: there is a ferry). Victor and his wife are very friendly and uncomplicated. So if you need some peace but still want to quickly get to the city or do other activities, this is the place to be. Edam and Volendam are also highly recommended. In addition, a day trip to the North Sea is also worthwhile ;-) We will be happy to come back.

A really very cozy place to stay! Communication was easy and fast :) We liked it very much, we would love to come back!

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

Very cozy, clean caravan in a quiet, natural environment with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. The entire complex (showers, pool,...) is also very clean and well maintained. We had the heating on at night, everything worked out great. The staff at the reception were also very friendly. Communication with Stefan was very good. Questions were answered helpfully and quickly. The WiFi connection in the caravan was not always available, but with the existing games, bicycles and the cozy evenings on the beautiful terrace, that was no problem for us. The WiFi connection at the front of the reception/at the pool was very good. It's a perfect place to switch off.

We had a great day at the property. Especially nice was that the sea was nearby and you were surrounded by tulip fields:)

We had a wonderful stay at this chalet! The place is even more cozy and charming than the photos show — beautifully located and very peaceful. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Birgit was an incredibly supportive and responsive host. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish, and she made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We are already thinking about coming back in the future. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Great Host and great Stay. Easy Kommunikation. We did go sailing with a skipper the host kindly arranged for us, wich was a great experience.

As a single mom with a toddler and a dog, it's not always easy to find something. We felt very welcome, delicious tulips in the cottage, also Annemieke's dog came to greet us. We have enjoyed a quiet, beautiful environment, top stay, lots of possibilities to do with child and dog! It was great! We'd love to come back!

We used Debby's place for a short trip to the sea with the family and were all super excited! We traveled with 4 adults, two children and our cat and the house was sufficiently large, super clean, toys had been provided for the children and the garden with sandbox was also a dream for all of us. In 4 minutes we were at the sea and the dunes with the cars. That's exactly how we imagined it! Debby was super nice and helpful and even helped us out when we were missing an ingredient while cooking. Really a successful stay and we would definitely come back <3

Probably the best AirBnB we‘ve been to in the Netherlands! Absolutely amazing renovated traditional house that felt cosy and right at home. We were 4 adults and one child (aged 8). The hosts were kind enough to set an extra bed for my daughter, which was very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. We didn’t miss anything. Very quiet and private location and beautiful surroundings. The garden is very peaceful and there is even a water channel at the back! We‘re absolutely looking forward to staying here again soon.

Very nice, good-smelling, clean and beautifully located accommodation! Kim was very friendly and accommodating! The small terrace is an asset and in the evening you can still enjoy the western sun.

Frank welcomed us warmly in his great apartment and gave us a nice little tour of the premises. He was available 24/7 and had even given us various tips and excursion destinations before arrival, which were tailored to our preferences. The apartment was neat, clean and there was really NOTHING missing! The area is nice and quiet, few tourists and a beautiful, clean and spacious beach. Perfect also for our dog. Our highlight was the nearby town of Alkmar with its market and also the CSD Pride Parade on the water, which we happened to come across. Absolutely recommended and super nice residents. All in all our stay was perfect. It couldn't have been better and we are sad that the short vacation is already over. We will definitely come back if we felt right at home. This was such a great airbnb I truly don’t really have any dislikes. It’s not directly in the city more on the very outskirts of it so you need to either drive or take the train. The train is about a 5 minute walk from the house and it’s easy to navigate. The space itself was clean and beautiful, Mike and Mike left recommendations and had basically every amenity you would need! Great find for a great price!
