I offer my guests complimentary parking permits for one car in the surrounding streets, however spaces are limited, toiletries, kitchen basics, linens and super fast broadband.

As a charming old building, the cottage has some low doorways that the taller amongst us need to be aware of! Great bathroom. Brixham is a very family friendly town with many attractions for the whole family. Lilac Cottage is a pretty, newly refurbished, but still traditional, fishermans cottage situated on a pedestrian hill in the old part of Brixham - safe for kids and dogs - just 2 or 3 minutes walk from the town and harbour. There are 2 double bedrooms, ensuite bathroom and separate shower room, sitting room, kitchen, dining room and garden with BBQ and decking with lovely views over the marina towards Tourquay.

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Our beautiful barrel top wagon is set in it's own private woodland glade with ample parking. It is light, airy and comfortable, perfect for a quiet escape with wildlife on the doorstep. It is eco friendly with a compost loo, reed bed water filtration system and cosy wood burner. Good for one couple or single person. Well behaved dogs are welcome. There is no TV or internet and the phone signal is sporadic. (Visitors are welcome to use host's landline in an emergency).
