Cute beachfront hotel, directly on the beach. Extremely kind and helpful staff. A clean room with a kitchenette and a very comfortable perimeter balcony. Quiet structure and attentive to Covid prevention measures. Free parking available on site and good breakfast, varied (sweet/savory) and plentiful. Highly recommended!

The Vamous palace is very clean with very nice host and à vif swimming pool in the very charming village of Vamos.

Communication was great from the beginning: we knew where to go and where to park. The family welcomed us very warmly and showed us everything. We were allowed to use everything and even pick the fruits from the trees in the garden. We got an extremely delicious breakfast, with the fruit and vegetables coming from our own farm. We even got tips for restaurants and bars both in the neighborhood and downtown Chania. Ultimately, we enjoyed our stay very much and felt at home. :)

We rented the place very spontaneously for 4 nights. The space is conveniently equipped. The entire complex is in good condition. Due to personal circumstances, we only spent one night there, and would have liked a small courtesy from the landlord.

Absolutely adored the place. The host was very friendly and made us feel like home. The location was perfect for us, walkable distance to the beach and during the night we could enjoy the peace and quiet at the balcony. We will definitely come back :)

We had a lovely stay with Nikos and Katerina .. they are lovely hosts .. the rooms are impeccably clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay .. beds are very comfortable, nice hot water with good pressure, tiny kitchen .. but enough for making breakfast ... but there are so many places around to eat (food in Crete is fantastic) ... situated directly on the beach ... with all amenities close by ... post office, shops, restaurants , bars etc. There is a lovely family feel to the place ... we would definitely go back if we are in Crete again

My friend and I stayed here off-season in early October, and the weather was perfect! We had a nice, spacious and clean apartment with two separate bedrooms and 4 (!) private terrases. Every morning we took a dive in the swimming pool and enjoyed a delicious breakfast meal prepared by chef Kostas. The host Konstantinos and everyone working here are very friendly, helpful and fun to chat with. Platanias is a great location from where to take roadtrips to beautiful beaches like Elafonissi, Balos and Kournas lake. And of course Chania is nearby (reachable by bus) which has a beautiful historic centre and some great restaurants. Platanias itself was a little touristic for us but Proimos Maisonettes is a little quiet oasis amidst it all. And the local beach is only a few minutes walking. So wether you just want to relax and do at least as possible on your holiday, or be more active and visit other parts of Crete, I would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect accommodation in an extremely central location in the old town of Chania. Everything is within 10 minutes walking distance. Great spacious private balcony with views over the city. Super clean and comfortable, felt luxurious. Loved our stay, wish we had longer.

We had a perfect stay at Elma’s Dream! Andreas and his family made us feel very much at home from the moment we arrived to when we left. All of our requests were quickly and kindly fulfilled, the room was great, bed was comfortable, and there’s nothing better than being able to grab an ice cold beer anytime by the pool! The location is amazing, it’s right next to the beach and a beautiful walk along the coast into the town which we did everyday and never tired of. We didn’t plan much, but Chania always had something to offer from great food to cool bars, a stunning old town, boat trips, paddle boarding, and just great atmosphere wherever you wander. I would definitely stay at Elma’s Dream again if/when I return to Chania, thank you so much Andreas and family!

We stayed one night and, while small, the room was perfect for our needs. It also provided outdoor patio space overlooking the Venetian village street, which was appreciated. Very convenient to Old Town port. We had a car and were able to find parking near the beach, but car parking may typically be challenging.

One of the most beautiful apartments we have ever seen! The entire apartment (in the inside and outside) was perfectly cleaned and provided with fresh towels and sheets every day. The pool was pretty big, clean and comfortable: they also provided us fresh towels for the pool every day we needed them with no extra charge! All staff was always kind and smiling, which are the thing we appreciated the most! The price/quality ratio was one of the best we have ever experienced. The apartment was also not far from the center of Kissamos (about 10-15 minutes walk), where you can easily find many restaurants, supermarkets and bars. I’ll surely recommend this place!

The place is simply beautiful and the views are breathtaking. I loved the swimming pool and the breakfast was abundant, tasty and healthy with ingredients from their organic gardens. the room was comfortable and clean, the hosts always had great recommendations for things to do, beaches to visit and places to eat. would defiantly return to this place again!

Very nice room, beautiful patio where you can enjoy morning or evening. The decor is perfect and as described. Theofilos is friendly and gave us good advice The best part is that it's 50 m from the beach and 10-15 minutes from Old Town. The downside, little light and openness in the back room, but for 1 or 2 nights it's great! In short, we had a great time, I recommend it. Thank you Theofilos.
