Cottage vacation rentals in Dalton

This house was beautiful. We were welcomed in person by a very friendly and welcoming host and the one small issue we had was resolved within 5 minutes of contacting the host. We hope to stay at this property again. An amazing experience!

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

Wendy was a helpful, friendly and responsive host. The cottage was also such a cute and quirky little spot, close to the beautiful Haworth. Basic breakfast items were also left for guests to enjoy, which was a lovely, homely touch making us feel welcome. You need to park on the main road just a short walk from the property so there were a few more steps to that but the instructions were clearly sent in advance.

Wonderfully peaceful location. Holly Toft is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We paticularly appreciated how much care was given to ensuring the hot tub was spotlessly clean and freshly filled for our arrival. Kathryn is a superb host who clearly cares a lot about her guests. The field full of adorable lambs to look out on was a delightful bonus! Highly recommend! Thank you Kathryn.

We loved the cottage and the hot tub was an added bonus each day after a long walk. It was very quiet, which we like. The cottage was furnished to a high quality and the bed was really comfy. There is plenty of lovely walks close by. We would certainly visit again.

I booked on Friday afternoon and arrived on Saturday, so was all very last minute, Liz kept in touch and met us there to show us around. Place is very dog friendly. Liz also checked in with us during our stay to see if all was ok. We went for lovely walks and spent time in the spa to relax in the evening, just what we all needed, will be recommending to my friends and family 10/10 many thanks 😊

Guestbook and instructions very clear. Easy access. Blankets and toys much appreciated. Bathroom/wet-room and hot tub very nice. Oven with large range was great for preparing multiple dishes at once for dinner. Lovely location by the park and swimming pool. We had a very nice few days.

Lovely little getaway for Christmas. The accommodation was warm and cosy with country walks right on the doorstep. Perfect spot to escape the noise and chaos of every day life

We have stayed here a couple of times now and will be back again. The location is perfect for us. Within walking distance of shops yet you wouldn't know it when you are in the house or garden. There is a Fish and Chip shop across the road that serves the most delicious fish and chips we have ever tasted. Well worth breaking a diet for! The garden is fully enclosed which is great for our two small dogs to run around in, this place is genuinely dog friendly. Fast internet and a huge tv,

We felt at home straight away. The cottage was clean and comfortable, the bed comfy too. Parking was easy on the road outside the cottage and the cottage location is 2 minutes to nearest pub for food and drink. A local shop also in walking distance. The milk tea and coffee provided was very nice to have when we arrived. All in all a lovely stay and just as advertised. Jeff kept in contact but we had no issues. Our 2 little dogs were happy downstairs in their beds, no garden for the dogs but the front gate was latched so we could leave the door open.

A really great location and well equipped for a couple with a dog. The small patio was lovely to sit at in the sunshine. Stephen really responsive and helpful to messages. Would recommend

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Clarion Cottage. Excellent comms beforehand from hosts, who also offered an early check-in. Warm welcome on arrival for us and dog with recommendations for walking routes to pubs that were all dog friendly and served great food. Downstairs - we only used the kettle and fridge and handheld hoover, but the kitchen was spotless and really well equipped with cafetiere, packed lunch boxes……. Everything had been thought of! Sofa was perfect for a cosy evening after ling walks and being well fed. TV had digital channels that we could log into to catch up on our own subscription channels. The log burning fire would be super in winter, but we didn’t need to try it. Upstairs lovely shower pressure; bathroom was beautifully kitted out. Comfy bed. Thanks Deborah and Tim; perfect hosts. We’ll definitely look to return!

We came to the cottage to celebrate both mums 80th birthday. Sarah was so.lovely and communication right up to the day was excellent. Cottage was beautifully done inside and out.Immaculate inside and out. Everything you could think of.Home from home. Will definitely be recommending this to our friends and family. Thank you Sarah

Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Old Cobblers in Marsden and couldn’t fault any part of it. The cottage was an ideal size for a couple and in a perfect location just a stones throw from the village centre with ample places to eat and drink. The cottage was well equipped and the bed was very comfy. Was nice to fall asleep listening to the stream outside. Lots of walks to do straight from the doorstep. We didn’t go out in the car at all once there as plenty to do straight from the village. Neville was an attentive host but not intrusive and the visitors guide in the cottage had plenty of ideas of things to do and places to eat. Will definitely be returning again soon as location and cottage were just perfect for what we wanted

Loved our stay here! The location was great, very peaceful and tranquil. The house itself was lovely, really cosy and clean, and looks just as advertised on images. Lots of places to explore nearby too. The host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely lovely cottage in great location for all amenities of Haworth. Spotlessly clean & exactly as described with many lovely touches. Lynne was a great host very helpful and friendly and excellent communication.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Sarah and Mark's property. The location was ideal for us, as we were visiting family in the area, but we were also able to enjoy serenity at the cottage between visiting. From the cottage we could walk our dogs peacefully up the road (a huge bonus for us as they need a quiet life), and I managed a long run from the doorstep - discovered some fab trails. The cottage had everything we needed and overall was a very relaxing stay. Sarah and Mark were responsive throughout too, always helpful and friendly - they even offered a late checkout, as no guests staying directly after us, which was incredibly thoughtful. Would definitely come back again. Thank you!

Back home after a wonderful stay at Pine View Lodge. Julian and Sarah Jane are amazing hosts, so helpful and the place is stunning. Wonderful views, well equipped and comfortable. Julian checked in on us and made sure we were all settled in after arrival. Excellent communication before and during the stay. Thanks so much Julian, just what was needed!

Had a lovely few days at Titus. Wow what a stunning location with views to die for! The space was beautifully decorated and clean, yet homely with all the home comforts you'll ever need. Great communications with the hosts, who went the extra mile to help us out when a local utility went down. Would definitely recommend.

We couldn’t have asked for better! Beautiful cottage, exactly as described. Like staying in a 5 star hotel with a kitchen and living room. Walk out the door to mam tor, lose hill and across the road to the pub! Refreshed and relaxed! Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely cottage with stunning walks in the surrounding Peaks straight from the door.

We had such a lovely stay in the cottage. It was as described and spotless. The balcony was such a lovely addition for evening drinks in the sun and Mytholmroyd has a few nice pubs too! It was in a great location to visit Hebden Bridge and Halifax. There is also a direct train to Chester too!
