Cottage vacation rentals in Dalton

This house was beautiful. We were welcomed in person by a very friendly and welcoming host and the one small issue we had was resolved within 5 minutes of contacting the host. We hope to stay at this property again. An amazing experience!

Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at Poppy cottage as we visited the area for a wedding at Bolton Abbey. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous and we loved the decor, esp usually the sheep curtains and cushions! Super comfy big bed, amazing jacuzzi bath and a stunning hot tub. A real luxury air bnb. Finding the cottage and check in was super easy and communication was great. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone! We would love to go back.

Wendy was a helpful, friendly and responsive host. The cottage was also such a cute and quirky little spot, close to the beautiful Haworth. Basic breakfast items were also left for guests to enjoy, which was a lovely, homely touch making us feel welcome. You need to park on the main road just a short walk from the property so there were a few more steps to that but the instructions were clearly sent in advance.

Wonderfully peaceful location. Holly Toft is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We paticularly appreciated how much care was given to ensuring the hot tub was spotlessly clean and freshly filled for our arrival. Kathryn is a superb host who clearly cares a lot about her guests. The field full of adorable lambs to look out on was a delightful bonus! Highly recommend! Thank you Kathryn.

Guestbook and instructions very clear. Easy access. Blankets and toys much appreciated. Bathroom/wet-room and hot tub very nice. Oven with large range was great for preparing multiple dishes at once for dinner. Lovely location by the park and swimming pool. We had a very nice few days.

I booked on Friday afternoon and arrived on Saturday, so was all very last minute, Liz kept in touch and met us there to show us around. Place is very dog friendly. Liz also checked in with us during our stay to see if all was ok. We went for lovely walks and spent time in the spa to relax in the evening, just what we all needed, will be recommending to my friends and family 10/10 many thanks 😊

Beautiful 2 days sleeping under the stars, of which two were shooting stars. Close to Dovestones for a good hike and literally 5 reservoirs within 2 minutes walk. Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful interior. Would definitely recommend.

5* accommodation! Comfortable, elegant, quiet and clean country house with welcoming garden in a beautiful part of the countryside. Well provided kitchen, pristine decoration complemented with nice and interesting ornaments. Being there is part of the weekend break.

It was a great place for an extended weekend. Karen & Dave were amazing hosts and made our stay even more pleasant. When we arrived there was a great welcome pack that included bread, eggs , some crisps, a pack of epic biscuits, and some butter and milk in the fridge and the best touch of all a lovely bottle of white wine. The field behind the house was perfect and our 2 collies, Odin & Storm loved it. All in all a perfect property and hosts !!!

The cottage was everything we could have hoped for . Spotless with every thing we needed . Just like home from home . Addingham is a lovely village with pubs and lots of good walks . Near access to the Dales and the wonderful towns nearby .

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Clarion Cottage. Excellent comms beforehand from hosts, who also offered an early check-in. Warm welcome on arrival for us and dog with recommendations for walking routes to pubs that were all dog friendly and served great food. Downstairs - we only used the kettle and fridge and handheld hoover, but the kitchen was spotless and really well equipped with cafetiere, packed lunch boxes……. Everything had been thought of! Sofa was perfect for a cosy evening after ling walks and being well fed. TV had digital channels that we could log into to catch up on our own subscription channels. The log burning fire would be super in winter, but we didn’t need to try it. Upstairs lovely shower pressure; bathroom was beautifully kitted out. Comfy bed. Thanks Deborah and Tim; perfect hosts. We’ll definitely look to return!

We had a lovely 4 nights stay at the cottage with our two dogs. The cottage was clean and we had everything we would need for our stay, including wood for the log burner. The enclosed garden was a nice place to sit and enjoy wonderful views and to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Castleton is only a 15min walk along a footpath from the rear of the cottage and there are plenty of places to eat and drink in the village. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended 👌

Spent a lovely weekend with friends and our children here. The farm house was clean and comfortable, the surroundings are very picturesque. We had a lovely walk into chapel en le frith town, where we had food at The royal bar & Grill. On the way back we stopped off at a brook with a rope swing for the afternoon where both the children and adults had a ball! The fire pit in the evenings was a lovely addition, toasting marshmallows! Even our teenager who is hard to please gave the place a 10/10! Thanks again Jill for a lovely stay!

A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Very comfortable with everything we needed in terms of kitchen equipment, cosy wood burner, very comfortable bed, lovely views over the garden to the hills. Very peaceful. Fabulous to hear the cuckoo! We had everything we needed. Village close by for essentials , well stocked spar, lovely farm shop, good pubs. Francesca gave us a lovely warm welcome on arrival, and had left some delicious goodies and essentials in the kitchen! We would love to return here as base for more exploration of the area. Fantastic for hiking, climbing, running and cycling and chilling! Highly recommend!

Simon communicated well with us and made sure we settled in. Nice location for our stay and perfect for the two of us and child who loved seeing the chickens on the farm.

Wonderful stay! This place has been extremely well thought out from the underfloor heating, steam room , bathtub , lighting to sound system felt like a hotel stay but with more space … perfect location to park the car on arrival & not need it till we left lovely restaurants, pubs , amenities, Main Street,parsonage & walks all accessible from the doorstep making this a great overall stay!!

A proper authentic Yorkshire location with great scenery. An ideal base for Hebden, Haworth and the dales

My second stay and it shan’t be my last. It’s a great weekend retreat. Unfortunately, we didn’t quite get the weather but we brought plenty of food and beer and enjoyed the many board games that Lucy offers. There’s something really nice about being free of the internet and the usual distractions. Cottage is incredible, with amenities and essentials going above and beyond what you would expect. Thanks for having us again.

Ideal for our purposes. Had a family meal at Gigis across the road and a takeaway from the Jade Dragon, even had a haircut at Infinity barbers. I know Pudsey very well having been to the grammar school until I left home at 18 for university and many family visits in the 50 years since. The location was ideal and would definitely stay again next time my sister has a full house.
