A round table with a reflective surface is positioned next to a large window. A modern sculpture of intertwined hearts, crafted in a shiny material, rests on the table. Natural light filters through the window, highlighting the surrounding landscape.

Central cottage Newcastle

Staying at this house was a highlight of our week-long trip through Ireland! Just a short drive (or walk) to the trailhead for Slieve Donard (stunning hike to the top!). We also had just a very short walk over to the beach for seaglass hunting, and a Lidl grocery store is walkable as well. The place was immaculately clean and everything was pretty much brand new (some with the tags still on!). Comfortable furniture throughout the home, though the fridge was one of the smaller ones, so other travelers should be prepared for that. Washer and dryer worked great and were very nice to have as this was the tail end of our trip. Private off-street parking was very nice as well. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

The place was spotless and incredibly clean, making it feel comfortable and inviting. The attention to detail really stood out, and it was clear the host cares about providing a top-notch experience. The place exceeded my expectations in every way – it was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was welcoming and responsive, ensuring everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect, and I truly felt at home during my stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience and would love to stay here again in the future!

A hallway is depicted featuring a wooden console table with a decorative lamp and a potted plant. An elephant sculpture rests atop the table. A geometric-patterned rug complements the warm wooden tones of the flooring and walls, leading to a wooden door in the background.

The spacious living room features two deep blue sofas, arranged thoughtfully around a decorative area rug. Light enters through a window, illuminating the green painted walls. Framed art pieces decorate the walls above the sofas, while a classic fireplace adds a focal point to the room.
