Château de Meauce, Maison du vigneron (Winegrower's House)

The house known as the Vigneron du Château de Meauce is located opposite and at the foot of the Château; it is classified as a Historic Monument and is located on the classified natural site of the Bec d'Allier (confluence between the Loire and the Allier). The house dates from the 16th century and was used to house the family of the master winemaker, then the seamstress of the castle. Relax in this unique and quiet house at the foot of the Allier River (private beaches of the castle 100 meters walk from the door of the house).

Simba and I lived here happily for a while and everything was custom-made, according to my tastes. Nestled a 15-minute walk to the city center and 5 minutes to the train station, this accommodation will hopefully offer you a truly remarkable experience for those looking for comfort, style and convenience. The Cottage du Port

The house is a pretty workers cottage on the towpath sandwiched between the canal basin and the river Loire on the Loire à Velo cycle track. It is picturesque, comfortable and quiet with the bakery, butcher and épicerie within walking distance. We have recently installed a bike stand.
