Aaron and Alla were fantastic hosts! That’s not an overstatement. They were super helpful and communication was excellent. The guide book was so organized and thorough. We arrived late in the day and were welcomed with croissants, eggs and coffee for next morning if we needed it. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed with many nice, thought out touches. Location was perfect to explore Cuenca. Highly recommend their place for anyone exploring Cuenca. Would definitely come back. Thank you Aaron and Alla for your hospitality. It made our social trip to Cuenca even more special.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und tatsächlich super ruhig, obwohl sie sehr zentral liegt. Wir haben uns mit unseren drei kleinen Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen wieder 💚 Die Kommunikation mit Maggie und Alejandra war super. Vielen Dank.

No quiero decir a los demás que este lugar es lo mejor que hay porque quiero guardarlo para mi mismo. Es un lugar muy seguro, hermoso, tranquilo, con una increíble vista de la ciudad desde la terraza. El barrio tiene todo lo que necesitas en términos de restaurantes, farmacias, doctores, escuelas de español, tiendas de artesanía local, clases de cocina, tours en bus, etc. Aunque el diseño del acústico es excelente, puedes oír música tecno por la noche a veces. Si eres alguien de un lugar muy poco ruidoso y despiertas fácilmente, te recomiendo usar ruido blanco y audífonos. No creo que puedas elegir un departamento mejor en centro histórico. Disfrútalo!

A very well equipped apartment. Furniture, furnishings, kitchen equipment all of high quality. Plus s VERY comfortable bed in main bedroom. Balcony with views over the town with mountains in the background. Although located to the west of the old town, access to the new travia metro system was about 150 meters up the road. This costs a dollar and there are stops only 5 minutes walk from Calderon Park in front of the Cathedral. We used it most days. Many day trips are available, recommend these as a good guide will really help with the understanding of the region and country. There are supermarkets on the Travia line in either direction, but we just used cabs - a couple of bucks each way and more convenient. Maria and her sister Katrina were very helpful, we settled in very quickly, and they answered questions without any delay. All in all a very good stay - ahhh one last thing ref Travia and taxis - you will not need a hire car!

Excellent location within easy walking distance of historical center of Cuenca, many restaurants, grocery stores, and other places of interest. The building has 24-hour security at its front door manned by helpful guards (e.g., guard often assisted with groceries). Owner kept us apprised of on-going maintenance and exterior painting of building as well as any interruptions in utilities by municipal authorities (only happened a few days of a three-month stay). Cleaning services available for a reasonable fee during the lengthy stay. My wife and I look forward to returning to this lovely apartment during our annual visits to Cuenca.

This was our second stay at Terrazo Escondido and it was as wonderful as the first ! This is a lovely, well equipped apartment with comfortable beds, in an amazing location. One can easily walk to El Centro, there are delightful restaurants and shops all around. The crowning glory however, is the rooftop terrace. This is a magical place to read a book, sip a drink or watch the sunset, it is glorious!

Blown away by the views of this Airbnb, as soon as we got there we didn’t ever want to leave. If staying in Cuenca, look no further this is the spot for you. Everyone in our group who came to Cuenca and stayed in hotels downtown were very jealous of our Airbnb. Very clean, comfortable beds, and amazing views!

Lindo lugar, amplio, hermosas vistas y con acabados bellísimos. Lo único que me hubiera gustado saber es que es en un tercer piso sin ascensor. De ahí todo excelente.

trámites, turismo, bonita estadía.. 100/10✨️ Me sentí como en casa y con la ubicación al pie del río Tomebamba aún mejor, el lugar es exactamente como se describe, muy cómodo, calmado, limpio y práctico de acceso super fácil, con la hermosa vista al río🥰, tiene restaurantes abajo que te acercan la comida al depar bajo pedido 10/10👌 aunque igual tiene cocina para preparar y/o calentar comida o cafecito que para mí es lo principal, está cerca de sitios de turismo museos,restaurantes, bares por la calle Larga y cerca al registro civil San Blas para trámites.. y todo lo hice caminando.. más que recomendado ✨️

Inmejorable ubicación cerca de todo, a pocos pasos del centro. Facilidad de parqueo seguro en el condominio. Estuvimos con mi familia y realmente pasamos muy bien. Es el tercer año que visitamos Cuenca y nos alojamos en este bello lugar, aquí nos sentimos como en nuestro hogar, sus instalaciones son cómodas y acogedoras, María y Pablo son personas muy agradables y sobre siempre estuvieron pendientes de cualquier información que necesitábamos. Es el mejor mejor lugar en Cuenca para alojarte lo recomiendo al 100.

Nos hospedamos 1 mes en este departamento. PUNTOS POSITIVOS: *Espacio pequeño ideal para 1 persona, suficiente para dos personas. *Limpio, bien equipado y con implementos básicos de cocina y limpieza. *Edificio seguro y barrio agradable, cerca del río y restaurantes. *Michael es amigable y responde rápido. COSAS POR MEJORAR: *Privacidad: La puerta y ventana dan a un pasillo externo por lo que se puede ver y escuchar a la gente pasando por el pasillo. Asimismo, desde el pasillo se puede ver lo que ocurre dentro del departamento cuando las cortinas estan abiertas. *Ducha: La ducha está parcialmente cerrada por lo que salpica mucha agua al piso del baño. *Almacenamiento: Adecuado para estancias cortas, limitado para largas. En general es una excelente opción sobretodo para estancias cortas. Definitivamente lo rentaríamos de nuevo.
