Vacation rentals in Csengele

I must say it was the best vacation we have ever booked through Airbnb. The private pond is very special, which we also used every day. In addition, there is a real pool. I also found the herd of sheep to the neighboring property, which you could pet. Furthermore, there are 4 cats on the property, so if you have children, there is always one to play. Very good Hungarian restaurants are nearby, which are great value for money. The hosts Susann, Othmar and Tibor are super nice, know each other and try to make everything possible. I recommend having a trip organized by carriage. Here you are guided by a local through forests and the children are even allowed to steer themselves. Overall, I highly recommend the hosts and the property.

The weather was rough this time but the kids still enjoyed themselves. The ponies stayed closer to the house where they were easier to pet and the children enjoyed playing with some of the indoor toys. The picnic area at the house stays dry in the rain so it continues to be possible to be outside even in poor weather. I think there were more swallows (small birds) out in the rain than I have seen before. I recommend the path that goes between the public park and the Orthodox Church near by for bird watching. Overall good to be back. I appreciate diligence of the owners to fix things when normal house issues come up once in a while. We look forward to returning rain or shine🙂

Oliver is a great host. Communication was very good. You walk 10 minutes into town along the water. The apartment is next to a hotel where the check-in took place in the city. Everything very straightforward. I was passing through and had dinner there. The food was okay. The service but very friendly. Only criticism: I had several mosquitoes in the room that robbed me of sleep. A mosquito net on the windows would be very helpful.

Very nice host, communication was easy. Cozy accomodation with everything you might need. The lake is just a few minutes away. We can highly recommend this place.

This is the second time that we have stayed with Dragana at house of owls and the place did not disappoint. We all absolutely love the space and instantly feel right at home. We never want to leave but Dragana was so helpful in showing us the local area and making some suggestions on what to do. The house is decorated all over in amazing maximalist style with so many well chosen pieces and colour. I would highly recommend a stay here for complete relaxation.

Danijela is super responsive and helpful. The apartment was amazing, had everything one would need for a great stay, and the location was perfect, walking distance to anything you might need but still quiet for a good night sleep.

We had a great rest there.

Super wellness

We had a great time, the house is beautiful and the surroundings! In the morning, deer ran a few meters from the porch, it's a very peaceful place. There are also great hiking opportunities nearby.
