Places to stay in Cross Plains

We had a great stay! The place was clean, cozy, and matched the description perfectly. It had everything we needed and felt comfortable the whole time. Communication with the host was smooth and easy, which made everything even better. Would definitely stay here again if we're back in the area. Thanks again for everything!

This AirBnB was "top-notch" !! Lots of extras were available in the kitchen pantry and the "appliance department," with spices, a blender, and a hand mixer just to name a few. The kitchen was "well stocked" with dish detergents, trash bags, etc. The laundry room had a washer and dryer that could do "just about anything" - including steam-fluff your wrinkled clothing! The bathrooms had sample-sized items that you "may forget" like toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash...even Tylenol and ibuprofen!! Each bedroom had a TV for personal/late evening enjoyment, as well as a pedestal fan & ceiling fans. It felt as though we were staying at a 5-star hotel

Wonderful place, we absolutely loved it. Home was beautiful and unique, everything was taken care of, and everyone was right about those cookies. Oh my goodness. 🤩 We had a 3-year-old with us who is pretty chill, so it was fine for us, but be aware of breakables if you have more rambunctious kids. We millennials absolutely loved being able to watch Disney movies on VHS with her though, and there were books for kids available too. Short drive to Dyess if you’ll be visiting there, location was great for that. Overall, highly recommend, no complaints at all!

A great little house where my two friends and I could hang out, eat, do jigsaw puzzles, and watch the Masters. The house was comfortable and just the right size for us. The location is about 3 minutes from the grocery store and close to restaurants. Maddie was very responsive to us and very helpful.

This house was as described and met our needs for a place to stay while visiting Abilene. We appreciated the proactive communication, clear and easy instructions and affordability of this rental. Thank you!

My wife and I stayed picked this place for our baby moon. The Rockin Lavendar Farm was literally off the beaten path. Very secluded and very quiet. We met Ricky and immediately were treated as if we were family. He walked us around the property and talked about the history of the area. He provided us with bed time cookies. (Snickerdoodle cookies!!) He recommended Black Cur; a steak restaurant, for dinner and let me just say that place did not disappoint. We returned and enjoyed a night under the stars in the hot tub. The next morning we were treated with a warm breakfast and delicious orange juice. If you need a quiet getaway this is the place to go.

House was very clean and was perfect for my family!

This was our second stay at Traci’s place. Just like before, everything was spotless and the place smelled so clean! Traci had messaged me ahead of time for our ETA. The temperature had dropped pretty rapidly for the weekend in Abilene and when we arrived, we noticed a cozy little fireplace heater in the bedroom—just one example of the many thoughtful touches Traci incorporated into her place that made our stay more comfortable. We come to Abilene relatively often to see our kids and will plan to book again with Traci in the future!
