Loved the history of this beautifully decorated home. The hosts were very responsive. Communication with the host was very quick and polite. This is a beautifully serene home in an excellent location.

We had a wonderful stay in this really beautiful and peaceful setting. We fed the fish, watched the purple martins scooping up bugs, and watched the first stars appear in the sky. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

I am a local pastor and with no many hotels around, I decided to use the Hub for our guest speaker. Our guest speaker loves this facility. He said it was spacious, clean, and just a great stay. My wife went and dropped off a fruit basket for the minster and was impressed as well. Monk responded at any question and news we had. We will use the hub again.

I really appreciate such nice lodging in rural areas. The quality of furnishings, linens, towels and dishes were a step above 95% of Airbnb's I have stayed at. A true five star Airbnb.

What a beautiful place nestled in the woods—a little piece of heaven! Surrounded by blooming bluebells, a variety of birds perfect for birdwatching, a peaceful creek with a tire swing, and even an outdoor projector for movie nights—this place has it all and more. Located near Shawnee Forest trails, including the stunning Garden of the Gods, it’s the ideal spot for outdoor adventures. This was our second stay, and once again, everything was perfect. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

The place was our stay was great! We had one hiccup with the door code, but with very fast response time from the host resolved the issue within minutes. Description was spot on and would stay again.

We spent a long weekend at this charming, rustic cabin in Elizabethtown to explore Shawnee National Forest and other scenic areas in southern Illinois. We really enjoyed staying in a 100 year-old cabin that was built to last and had been very cared for over the years. Stephanie was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy a peaceful weekend in nature. Lots of beautiful rock formations, water falls, and hiking trails within driving distance. I really felt like I was able to see so much of what southern Illinois has to offer. And in the morning and evening we could relax on the deck and watch the passing barges. We’d definitely go back!

Words cannot express how beautiful this place is! Complete peace and solitude, surrounded by nature. I came for rest and relaxation and got it! Home was clean and did not lack anything, plenty amenities. Perfect location to catch breathtaking sunrises and sunsets! Paula was always quick to help out and very communicative! She was very kind, patient, and friendly, thank you Paula! Definitely want to stay again.
