Είχαμε μια εξαιρετική διαμονή στη Villa Iro και τη συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται ανάμεσα σε παραδοσιακά κρητικά χωριά. Πρόκειται για μια υπέροχη πέτρινη βίλα σε ένα γαλήνιο περιβάλλον με μοναδική θεα! Ο χώρος είναι φιλόξενος μιας και μας παρείχε όλες τις ανέσεις (πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα, άνετα κρεβάτια, πλυντήριο, τζάκι κτλ) Απολαύσαμε ιδιαίτερα τον εξωτερικό χώρο και τη μοναδική θέα καθώς και το αίθριο στη βίλα. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν διαθέσιμος, ευγενικός και είχαμε άριστη επικοινωνία πριν την άφιξη αλλά και κατά τη διάρκεια της διαμονής μας. Σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε στο μέλλον!

Wir wurden direkt äußerst freundlich mit Obst- und Essen empfangen. Die Lage ist wunderbar, man schaut aufs Meer und in die Natur, es ist ruhig und direkt neben der Unterkunft geht ein ca 20-30 min. wunderschöner Weg am Meer entlang in den anderen Ort. Wir haben unsere Zeit genossen und können es 100% weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem Haus! Es ist genauso wie auf den Bildern – sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und in einer tollen Lage. Die Kingsize Betten sind sehr bequem. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war von Anfang an freundlich, respektvoll und absolut reibungslos. Schon zur Begrüßung stand ein kleines, herzliches Willkommensgeschenk in der Küche bereit: Honig, Olivenöl, Kekse und Raki – eine sehr schöne Geste! Der Blick auf das Meer ist wunderschön. Anzumerken ist, dass das Haus sehr hellhörig ist. Es liegt an einer kleinen Anwohnerstraße, aber dennoch fahren dort Autos lang und man hört es vor allem morgens extrem im Bett. Im Verlauf unseres Aufenthalts wurden wir sogar mit frischen Eiern und Orangen aus eigener Produktion überrascht. Zum Abschied gab es dann nochmals Honig und eine Flasche Raki – einfach großartig! Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar, hilfsbereit und ausgesprochen gastfreundlich. Vielen Dank für alles!

Heerlijk verblijf in een serene omgeving. Prachtig uitzicht richting zee, fijn zwembad en grote, smaakvol ingerichte kamers. Wij konden hier echt tot rust komen. Je hebt wel meestal een auto nodig om restaurantjes of nabijgelegen dorpjes te bezoeken. Voor ons geen probleem, wij genoten juist van de rust.

Eine Perle und ein schöner Rückzugsort im Süden von Kreta. Die Villa verfügt über alles was das Herz begehrt, ein wunderschöne Aussicht, Pool und eine moderne Küche, die jedes Herz eines Hobby Kochs höher schlagen lässt. Das morgen und abendliche Bad im Pool mit der Aussicht werde ich vermissen. Da es fast keine Lichtverschmutzung hat, sieht man ein Sternenschauspiel und die Milchstrasse von blossem Auge. Einsame Strände sind mit dem Auto innert 30 Minuten sehr gut erreichen, somit ist ein Auto sehr empfehlenswert. Muss kein SUV sein. Sam ist jederzeit erreichbar und kommuniziert sehr schnell. Desweiteren steht er oder Lefteris mit Tips und Ratschlägen jederzeit zur Seite. Sam und Anel sind mehr als Super-Hosts und ich kann ihr Villa zu 200% empfehlen.

The Villa was absolutely PERFECT for our trip to Crete - we loved every minute of being there. The views are absolutely amazing and the property is so private and peaceful. From the complimentary wine that was waiting for us, to the rapid communication and absolutely spotless property, we were delighted in every way. You absolutely need a car unless you are planning to stay at the villa the entire time - the home is pretty remote. On our first day there was a massive wind storm which we kind of enjoyed - and then sunshine the rest of the time to enjoy the beautiful pool area and pickle ball courts. We liked the restaurant (Parasia) that is just down the hill (a 5 min drive, about a 15 min. walk). It is the only restaurant within walking distance and is not $$. Old Town Crete and Rethymno are both 30-45 min away and there are lots of beaches. We loved the market in Crete on Sat. and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple of meals at home. SO GLAD we booked this!!

Tout était absolument parfait, de l’accueil chaleureux de Jude et Andreas en passant par la beauté du lieu, la propreté de la maison, son confort et ses équipements, le soin apporté aux détails, le goût avec lequel les objets ont été sélectionnés, le paysage aux alentours et la piscine ! Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine et reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Casa Riza was a five star home away from home. The house itself is beautifully situated in the mountains, with the most glorious views through huge (clean) glass picture windows ensuring you make the most of the crystal blue seas and cloudless skies every day. We found it to be the most stylish home with immaculately maintained amenities, flowers on the coffee table (changed halfway through our stay!) - and it was all exceptionally clean and welcoming. Decoratively it was mix of old and new, making it homely and perfectly functional for a family of four. The pool was cold - but that didn’t stop the kids using it several times a day. Our hosts were amazing - we had tonnes of helpful, local recommendations and a food shop done for us with everything we needed, plus treats like Easter eggs for the kids and local jams and honeys - all laid out when we arrived. If you’re planning a trip to Crete I highly recommend staying here, a visit to Milonas gorge and Tersa beach also 5 star! ♥️

Der Check-In hat super geklappt, obwohl unser Flug Verspätung hatte und wir erst um 00:30 Uhr im Dorf ankamen. Maria hat auf uns gewartet und uns willkommen geheißen, vielen Dank! Der Ort selbst ist sehr ruhig. Es gibt einen Supermarkt, der aber wegen Saisonende leider schon dauerhaft geschlossen hatte. Die umliegenden Strände sind sehr idyllisch und teilweise waren wir sogar die einzigen dort. Zu den typischen Kreta-Sehenswürdigkeiten ist es sehr weit zu fahren, dafür hat man hier gute Entspannung ohne viel Trubel. Genauso, wie wir es wollten.

Dit is zo’n plek die je nooit meer vergeet. Wauw wauw wauw! Het uitzicht is echt geweldig; in het groen, tussen de rotsen met uitzicht op zee. Er is niemand in de buurt en je hebt echt een huisje voor jezelf en dat op een heel mooi stukje Kreta. Het is slim om boodschappen te doen op de heenweg (in de keuken vind je alles om te koken en er is een barbecue), want een grote supermarkt is bijna een half uur rijden en de taverne in het dorpje is voor overdag top, maar ‘‘s avonds wil je die donkere route op losse stenen niet nemen (dat weggetje is sowieso even wennen, maar te doen). Heb je zin in een paar dagen even helemaal uitchecken? Dan is dit echt de plek. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Zeer mooi appartement. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Zeer proper. Uitzicht was prachtig. Chrissa was supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Haar restaurant zo vlakbij was handig. Het eten zeer lekker. Een aanrader. Alles A

Liebe Maria, Bei Dir zu wohnen war ein ersehntes Heimkehren in Schönheit, Privatsphäre (auch im Freien dank der großen Terrasse und der Dorfendlage), Stille, Sauberkeit und Raum. Monastiraki und speziell Dein Haus sind eine Perle im rauen Osten Kretas. Was für ein Gefühl mit dieser Aussicht aufzuwachen, zu frühstücken etc. Deine Großzügigkeit hat uns sehr berührt, die Umsorgung mit Gemüse aus dem Garten Deiner Mutter und weiterer kulinarischer Geschenke hat uns begeistert. Wir wünschen Dir das Beste und sagen vielen lieben Dank und bis zum nächste Mal.

Die Unterkunft war super schön und entsprach vollkommen dem was wir erwartet haben. Die Kommunikation vorab und der Empfang durch Electra waren problemlos, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Gegend ist eher ruhig und landschaftlich sehr schön!

Notre sejour chez Antonios s'est tres bien passé. Le logement est tres propre, bien équipé et correspond bien aux photos. Malgre une arrivee autonome, Antonios a été très à l'ecoute, c'est un hôte de qualité. Il faut compter 30 minutes a pied pour rejoindre le centre historique, mais des bus passent juste a côté de l'appartement. Il y a aussi un petit supermarché a côté, pratique pour les courses. En conclusion, nous recommandons ce logement en toute sincérité.

Liebe Kallia, Danke dir noch mal, dass du uns in deinem zauberhaften Haus am Ende der Welt hast wohnen lassen. 😊 Wir haben die Zeit bei dir sehr genossen. Wer eine sehr ruhige Lage in der Nähe des Meeres sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. In Sitia findet man viele Geschäfte und Restaurants. Ein Lidl ist etwa 20 Minuten entfernt. Danke für alles. Wir verbrachten wunderschöne und erholsame Ferien in Dimitris Appartement. Die Wohnung ist traumhaft schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit qualitativ hochstehenden Möbel und es fehlt wirklich an gar nichts. Die Terasse hat einen einzigartigen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und wir haben viele schöne Stunden dort verbracht. Dimitris ist super freundlich, stets erreichbar und mit hilfreichen Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants usw. hat er uns sehr geholfen. Der Transfer vom Flughafen hat er uns auch organisiert und es hat bestens geklappt. Auch die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Supermarkt und Restaurants sind fussgängig gut erreichbar und die Busstation ist gleich auf der anderen Strassenseite. Wir können das Appartement wärmstens empfehlen, für uns das schönste bisher und wir werden gerne an die Zeit zurückdenken und bald mal wiederkommen.

Le logement de Mme Rosa et Magdalena est une véritable perle dans le secteur d’Heraklion. Les couchers de soleil sont mémorables,la douche extérieure est formidable et le terrain de tennis est unique. Les hôtesses étaient aimables et les recommandations étaient utiles. Petit paradis! Nous recommandons sans hésiter!

Nikos' place was fantastic for what we were looking for, which was a stunning view and a novel atmosphere (it's built into an actual cave or niche within the cliff.) Be aware that there are a LOT of stairs to walk up, so it's not for the infirm, but Nikos was super-helpful, meeting us in the parking lot and helping us bring our bags upstairs.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we booked, the host’s communication was excellent — always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. The hospitality was truly top-notch; We felt so welcome and cared for throughout our visit. The space itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s clear the host puts a lot of thought into creating a clean, cozy, and inviting environment. Every little detail was perfect. I also really appreciated how helpful and accommodating the host was, going out of their way to make sure we had a smooth and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and I would definitely stay here

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in der Unterkunft von Eleni. Es war wirklich ein Traum! Alles ist genauso wie auf den Bildern, sogar noch schöner! Die Lage ist Top, mit super Restaurant, schönen Stränden und die Altstadt von Chania ist schnell zu erreichen. Ich würde auf Kreta immer ein Auto empfehlen um alles zu erkunden. Eleni ist eine super Gastgeberin, die einem bei allem unterstützt und sehr zuvorkommend ist. Jeder Cent war es wert, und mein Freund und ich würden immer wieder gerne hier hinkommen. The owners of this place were amazing! They were so nice! The apartment is very clean and organized. The view is absolutely stunning from this place! Recommending everyone to stay here! Would stay here again if we ever visited!

Clean and spacious accommodation on many levels set down from the road- so lots of steps to consider. Set at the top of a breathtakingly beautiful valley overlooking the town and sea nearby and snow capped mountains opposite. Pool was well used and the jacuzzi was a bonus. Comfy beds and a choice of 3 terraces all with shade or sunshine. Traffic noise can echo up the valley at busier times. Local villages and walks from the door are stunning - good beaches nearby and only 50 mins by car from Chania airport. Car necessary to get to town to shop and local amenities. Travel light - there is a washing machine and plenty of towels. Provision of bathroom products, tea, coffee enough for first day. Bring own beach towels. Double glazing excellent for peaceful nights sleep and shutters keep house cool during hot sunny days. Good value for money and our excellent host was superbly responsive after unexpected storm damage.
