Great place in this location, the only downside was the neighbours who made it very clear they didn’t want AurBnB guests there.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt at home and relaxed. Everything we could possibly need was provided and the chocolates on arrival was a sweet touch! Narelle was friendly and replied to us promptly. Our first impression when we walked through this place was clean, bright and beautiful as shown in the pics! Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back and recommend to our family and friends! Just beautiful! :)

Great space. Fantastic location walkable to all the shops. Everything you need for a short or long stay. Warm and comfortable on a cold, wet winter’s weekend. Video instructions sent via email on how to enter the property made it easy. Highly recommend this listing.

A delightful experience made possible by the property's layout. The unexpected sights of kangaroos grazing at dawn and dusk added to the charm of staying here. It is the ideal place for people who enjoy peace and quiet.

This location was very convenient, and easy to access all of the local area at a walking distance.

Sally is very responsive and friendly. The instructions to check in and check out was clear. The room was very clean and neat, it was very private as well so perfect for our weekend hideout.

Great little unit with everything you need. Very secure with room to park a car in a private car park. The complex was quiet and well maintained. Good location. Far enough away from the Main Street to not get street noise but close enough to walk to great restaurants and pubs easily. The internet is a bit patchy but this isn’t the hosts problem, it is just the general area. We had no problems so didn’t need to contact the hosts, but they were great with info on check in/out. Would stay again and recommend to friends.

Lovely unit and a proper house. Very comfortable dwelling to live in, great heater. Nice having a bit of garden and the pot plants to look after. Plenty of linen, great hot water. Easy to keep clean. Beds were a little firm but found ways of adding a softer layer. As I was on a longer stay, a washing machine would have helped. Weekly rate for 3 week stay was appreciated, but it is still quite expensive way to rent. Loved my stay and was very comfortable and safe there.

We booked Jo's place for two nights for a family celebration (eight adults and two small children). Jo was extremely responsive to any request we had, and very easy and flexible to deal with at all times. The house was delightful - modern, spacious, bush outlook, exactly as advertised. There was even a lovely welcome hamper in the kitchen on arrival. It all made for a memorable weekend, Thanks Jo! 10/10

Absolutely incredible!! Gorgeous stay. Lovely scenery. Peaceful and private. I could honestly live here! Absolutely lovely, I didn’t want to leave :) Rob was friendly and responsive, the house was as described. Beautiful and clean. The water was hot and the pressure was amazing! Amazing heating when required. The house had everything I needed! I even got a gorgeous sunset just like in the pictures. If I ever need to come back, Rob’s place would be first on my list! Thank you again Rob!

Great place for a family to stay and close to the wildlife park.

We had an amazing time with Bob, Shirley, and Jenny. They were so friendly and made us feel like we had known them for ages. We loved the tour around the farm in Bob’s Model T and got lots of great pictures with the alpacas. The retreat is about 15 minutes from both Castlemaine and Bendigo, making it a perfect home base for when you’re in the area.

This is our second time staying at Karen and Trevor's house over the long weekend and honestly we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Its a short drive to the shops, quiet street and the house has everything you need, for adults and children alike. We would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here and the fresh chicken eggs morning is the icing on the cake!

Absolutely loved our stay at Annis place. Anni was an amazing host - flexible and helpful even though we booked very last minute! The house was spotless- so so clean and just a really nice and comfortable. It was perfect having the extra space for our kiddos to run around (and they loved the toys). Nice quiet neighborhood and close to everything. 100% will be coming back next time we are in ballarat.

Great property that was warm and cozy on a chilly long weekend. Everything was well considered to ensure we had a lovely stay. Plenty of space for our family of 4, with new amenities to ensure our comfort. Rebecca was incredibly responsive to my communications and so friendly. We had a great stay, on a cold rainy long weekend we were cosy and warm throughout the house. The kitchen had everything we needed, and wood was supplied for the fireplace. It was so great to stay in a truly dog friendly house, where dogs are allowed inside and had a fully enclosed backyard to explore. Close to some good restaurants in town, we could not fault anything about our stay!
