Virgina responded to all questions promptly and was very easy to deal with. Property was as described and was very clean. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in their area.

Writer’s Block was exactly what we needed. Our souls were crying out for nature. The cottage was perfect in every way, architecturally, design and set up. Jayneen added some extra touches with garden flowers and treats. Lots of good information about the area and clear instructions for appliances and looking after the house. Having the horses, magpies, ducks and rabbits was a balm. We'll be back in autumn and winter to enjoy the different seasons. Thank you !

We wanted a nice place to rest up and relax while visiting relatives in the area and ‘The Loft’ ticked all our boxes. The hosts were great. We would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Yasmine’s Poplar cottage in Guys Hill. It was less than an hour drive from our home in metro Melbourne but offered a serene farm/bush setting with beautiful gardens and wildlife. The cottage itself was clean cozy, fully stocked and kid friendly. Our 10-month-old was safe crawling around and exploring the cottage. He also loved saying hello to the friendly horses who were often nearby. Thanks so much for having us, Yasmine!

A beautiful warm home which was well furnished. We loved the photo album book showing how the Warneet Retreat came to be, it was a lovely touch!

I got wet through whilst taking a walk, the hosts provided a clothes horse for me to dry my clothes, and even offered their clothes dryer for me to use. I really enjoyed my stay, it is cosy and very comfortable.

We stayed for two nights at Tim’s . The location was excellent. Close to beach and parks, cafes etc. it was great to have a parking space off the street too. Tim and Tanya very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. If you are visiting Mornington Peninsula and not staying at Nicky’s place, you are missing out! Nicky took the initiative to connect with me right after the booking was made and was so thoughtful in preparing the home (she asked me my dietary preferences so that she could leave food for me when I arrive). Nicky and Michael are very lovely, thoughtful, kind and supportive hosts. Nicky checked in on me and was just super lovely the whole time. The place is stunning; lots of nature around and it’s very peaceful. I watched beautiful sunsets from the living room. The place was easy to check in, spotless, beds were comfortable, kitchenette is well equipped with a fridge, microwave, pressure cooker, dishes, cutlery and so on. Bathroom, bedroom and storage area is very spacious. Nicky also gave me lots of helpful tips when I needed them and was always only a phone call away. All in all, 10/10; you won’t regret it!

Iwona is an amazing host with her friendliness and attention to detail in the beautiful space. From the large selection of teas to a booklet with recommendations, this cosy guest house is the perfect place for couples! We particularly liked having a place to park our car and being a short distance from town and the beach.
