Vacation rentals with a patio in County Offaly

Great place, nothing else in the area and it sorted us right out on a charity event. Great little pub next door, chipper is questionable

Stayed three nights as a base for the national ploughing competition happening down the road. Very quiet, nice bath to relax in, lots of hot water, appreciated the suger, tea, coffee, etc supplied. Easy to get to take-aways and shops for groceries. Akin was very patient in waiting for our arrival (we were a bit late).

This is our second time to stay, as always Niall and Sarah were so helpful to us. we needed to be there a little early and they were so accommodating. They are doing a fantastic job on the house and even in the short period of time since our last visit we noticed so much workdone to the place. We have stayed in a lot of places and Sarah and Niall are 100% the most helpful hosts we have came across. The locals in the pub next door are some of the nicest people we have ever met. . They are very welcoming and it makes the stay even better. We will definitely be back in the new year

This was a great stay - the place was exactly as described, spotless clean. Tracy was so friendly - easy to deal with and very responsive to my messages. She even left us a lovely apple tart for when we arrived … Would highly recommend staying here

Absolutely beautiful house in Athy, we felt right at home the second we walked in. Very personal touches and lived in feel. House was clean and tidy and very comfortable for us. We didn't spend a lot of time in the local area, so I am unable to comment on that but as a whole Ireland is a beautiful country! Absolutely worth a visit and what better way to enjoy your stay that in a beautiful private house with everything you could need!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Our host was gracious, delightful, and went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and wonderfully accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful extras, including a welcome pack of food essentials, personal toiletries, and even cozy slippers. Pat ensured every detail was taken care of, making our stay feel truly special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm and welcoming experience!

We felt very welcome and found the Gate House very comfortable - it is set in lovely countryside and was a great pitstop on our road trip .

We had a fantastic stay at Babe Cottage. The property was impeccably clean and tidy, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was well-provisioned with everything you’d need for cooking, and the cosy wood burner, with an ample supply of logs and kindling, made evenings especially enjoyable. Check-in was easy and Marguerite’s thoughtful touches, homemade bread with jam, made us feel so welcome. The peaceful location was perfect for unwinding, and we loved being just a short stroll from Hogan’s pub, which served delicious food in a friendly, lively atmosphere. Marguerite even offered to book us a table there, which was much appreciated. This cottage is ideally suited for couples or small groups, with easy driving access to the beautiful walking trails of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Whether you’re looking for an active hiking break or a relaxing retreat, Babe Cottage has everything you need. Highly recommended, we’d happily return.

Anne’s place was absolutely fabulous. It was spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped for cooking and relaxing. Anne responded quickly to messages and was fantastic to deal with. I would recommend to anyone and we will hopefully be back!
