Kid-friendly vacation rentals in County Offaly

We stayed for a month and loved JJs place. The apartment is well located to serve as a base to explore all of ireland from. Every location we wanted to visit was easily within driving distance. The apartment itself is lovely. It had all the amenities we needed and was great for cooking. The nearby town of Roscrea is also fantastic with several supermarkets available. We also enjoyed walks in the area and visiting beautiful local parks. JJ himself was extremely kind and always ready to share some advice and recommendations. We would highly recommend this place for both short and long stays!

We have just returned from a stay at Niall’s home. The house itself is full of charm and the garden is lovely and private. The location is perfect, just a short drive or walk from Banagher with pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. Niall was a pleasure to deal with and was very accommodating with our last minute booking. We will certainly be back!

Pat was so kind and his place is beautiful! It’s was within perfect walking distance to the Greenfields festival that we went to this weekend! It was wonderful being able to walk around the town as well with the Blue Barroway right around the corner! He was also very helpful in offering tips on how to drive around Ireland in the next leg of our journey. Whenever I find myself in Athy again I’ll be back!

We stayed at the Lodge while visiting family nearby. Anthony was a fantastic host. We had bread, butter and Jan on arrival and he stopped us a day into our stay and surprised us with a local bottle of apple juice which was delicious. There were 4 generations of us staying. The youngest was 3 and the oldest 96. Everybody had a fantastic time. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Marie's space was fantastic! She was so helpful the day we checked in and responded immediately if any questions came up. The location is stunning and so peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked for anything you might need as well. The goats also provided so much entertainment! I highly recommend!

An absolute gem of a location. Loads of room,incredibly comfortable and all the amenities that you could want. It's also just a short 5 minute drive to Portarlington, but we decided there was little need to leave the house, as it was so relaxing. Margaret is a wonderful host and really made sure that we all felt at home, and we loved our (far too short!) stay. You simply can't go wrong with this place!

Muirt’s place is wonderful. Clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a restful stay. Muirt was a fantastic host and very responsive. He really went above and beyond. He left us his umbrella to use in the rain and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us, which was a very nice touch. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend his place. Thank you!

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night. The accommodation was very clean, roomy, private and cosy. We both slept very well. There were lots of extras provided such as milk, treats, cereals etc. Joseph was very friendly and welcoming. I can certainly recommend this Airbnb and we will certainly return during our next visit to Ireland.

Meine Frau und ich haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Alles war wie beschrieben und sehr gemütlich eingerichtete. Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr ruhig, da es ein bisschen abseits der Hauptstraße liegt. Declan und Bernie sind tolle Gastgeber und waren immer gut erreichbar wenn es Probleme gab. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung für kurz und langfristige Aufenthalte

Un grand logement clair et agréable : de la place pour notre fils, une literie très confortable, un gîte à la ferme très bien chauffé. Avoir pu assister à la traite des vaches et visiter la ferme a été un plus. Pratique et propre, sans fioriture : un logement exactement comme il nous fallait, pour faire une pause de 2 jours, à la campagne, durant notre road trip irlandais de 2 semaines.

We stayed for a friends wedding. The apartment was very nice and host was super helpful. We went to shops, takeaways and for coffee and everyone we met was very friendly.

Excellent stay at Shad’s apartment. Beautiful countryside setting, peace & quiet just as we wanted. It was very easy to find and was a home away from home. It was well equipped with everything we needed & really comfortable. I highly recommend Shad’s apartment. He is a fantastic host, so helpful, friendly & welcoming.

Eileen's place was absolute serenity. Super quiet and a wonderful place to come back to after a busy day out exploring. Only a 10 minute drive into Tullamore, so easy access to shops and restaurants. We found it a great central location to enjoy day trips from. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet base.

Had a lovely couple of days in the annex at Coolanowle House. Beautiful big bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved the real fire. Spacious living/dining area with very well stocked kitchen. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Lovely apartment to rest and relax. It is located on the edge of town but only a few mins drive away. The apartment is surrounded by green fields, woodland and nature. The terrace is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The apartment is well equipped and homely. Tom and his wife are friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect place for what I needed!

Loretta’s guesthouse is very high level quality for Airbnb. I have stayed in many Airbnbs but none were anywhere near as good as this one. It is absolutely beautiful and the photos don’t do it enough justice. It is extremely clean, practical and beautiful. Loretto is an extremely welcoming host. What a pleasure to have met her. I can understand the previous reviews where someone said she didn’t want to leave. The bed is very comfy and made up with exquisite linen. The sitting/sun room looks out onto the well kept garden. A pure slice of heaven. We HIGHLY recommend it. 🌸🌼

Die Wohnung war echt super! Hat alles, was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Mega coole Stimmung durch die LEDs. Preis-Leistung in Irland unschlagbar. Kann man nur empfehlen!

This was the perfect place to stay between Galway and Dublin Airport. Super clean…coffee, tea and milk were provided. Had a great dinner down the road at the Left Bank Cafe then walked down to see the waterfront (Shannon River). Headed to Sean’s Pub for some music and a few pints. Great location & great night. Made it to the airport in about an hour and a half. Easy drive. A parking lot was on the left just up the hill. It was an easy 3 minute walk from the Air B & B. Just perfect.

The apartment was in the perfect location for us and had everything we needed.
