Vacation rentals with a fire pit in County Offaly

This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in—10/10!!!!! The place is incredible. The rooms are enormous, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen and living area are huge, perfect for a large group, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The decor is fun, quirky, and adds so much character to the space. Everyone in our group was absolutely blown away, and we’ll definitely be recommending it to friends! Michelle was fantastic, meeting us for check-in and making the whole process seamless. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

I strongly recommend a stay here with Irene and Dave. From the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is outstanding, with everything you would need to make a meal. We got a takeaway from Sanjay s Indian restaurant in Birr, which was delicious. We were keen to get back to the apartment and light the stove. Dave gave us a tour of some of the fabulous grounds which he has been rewilding for years. He also directed us to some wonderful walking trails as well as filling us in on the history of the house. The gorgeous dogs need a special mention! A return visit is being planned already . Honestly I cant say enough good things about our stay here! From the beautiful decor to the hot tub to the homely finishing touches. The minute we booked Adeline was so helpful, describing the location and instructions of how to check in and giving great recommendations for cafes/restaurants/ things to do locally. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will 100% be back. The little details really added to the whole experience, like the flask of hot chocolate left for us beside the hot tub 😁 🥰

An amazing few days spent at the cabin. Such a quiet and peaceful place if you’re looking to take a break with your partner or even family. The hospitality from Darius and the other hosts who were amazing and made us feel looked after during our stay. Made it so easy to communicate with them with quick responses. We had a power shortage due to a storm and within less than an hour they had the place up and running again and made sure we were all good and looked after. All the facilities were so clean (hot tub, sauna, cabins and showers) and aesthetically pleasing. You even have the option to take a walk around the mini village. Would 100% recommend to anyone and we will definitely be returning again. Thanks Darius

I cannot recommend Anita and Rene’s accommodation highly enough! From the moment we booked, Anita went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and truly unforgettable. Communication was prompt, clear, and genuinely warm, making us feel welcome even before we arrived. The property itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with every amenity you could possibly need, including a cozy fireplace, very comfortable beds and pillows, and a well-stocked kitchen. What truly made this stay special, though, was the personal touch. They offered fantastic local recommendations, checked in just the right amount to ensure we were comfortable, and even surprised me with a thoughtful birthday gift: a bottle of delicious sparkling wine and balloons. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate! This is the kind of hospitality that turns a trip into a cherished memory. We had a pleasant stay. We came for business and pleasure. From Loretto's place we were able to visit Salthill, Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. My dog also had a great stay, with plenty of walks.

Really loved staying at the Balleycumber manor house. Connie was great and spent quite a bit of time showing us around and telling us all about the history of this house that has been in her family for generations. The grounds were fun to explore and the house had really comfortable rooms for sitting around a fire and enjoying a pint. It was a great central location for our rapid tour of Ireland.

Wonderful stay at Rushbrook House. Lovely modernised barn with excellent facilities. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and great shower. Coffee tea and good snacks. We stayed to visit family so didn’t explore around the local area as much as we’d have liked. 50 minute easy drive to/from Dublin airport, 30 minutes to Mullingar. We had a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gael's. The accommodation is lovely with all the amenities you would need and it's in a nice location. Gael was a thoughtful and supportive host. Thank you
