Farmstay vacation rentals in County Clare

We had a fantastic two-night stay in this idyllic location. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

This country cottage is beautiful, comfy and cozy. Upon driving in the first time, you may wonder where you are going as you are on a cow path leading to this cute little cottage. You may pass cows in the pasture or chickens running around; definitely a working farm. Donagh was very responsive to any questions or needs. Our stay was in December, and he brought us an electric heater until the comfy heat came up through the floor. We were also greeted with some thoughtful little treats. The town of Askeaton is small with a grocery store and gas station. You will definitely need a car to sightsee or go out to a restaurant. We traveled about two hours each day to get to sigths we wanted to see. If you are looking for a glimpse at farmlife in a very comfy, cute cottage, you will enjoy Donagh's rental. Thank you, Donagh, for four comfortable and enjoyable days.

The cottage was absolutely lovely and extremely well furnished with anything you might want. The morning views as the tide was high was gorgeous. The beds were extremely firm and I would have preferred more pillows. The only downside was the water pressure wasn’t very strong - but in an idyllic cottage that’s minor.

This is a gold mine of an Airbnb. If you've never stayed in a home that was built in 1795 or earlier, this is a real treat. It is a very nicely remodeled, upgraded, and redecorated family farmhouse. The home was great and the area was very peaceful. . This home is perfectly situated to see most of the incredible sights in Ireland outside of Dublin. This was our first time in Ireland, and Mary was extremely helpful in recommendations of what to see. The home was our base and we traveled each day from 1 to 1/2 hours to see Galway (the city museum is great), Limerick, Bunratty Castle (the kids loved it), Cliffs of Mohar, the Poulnabrone Dolmen (The Irish "Stonehenge" but built thousands of years earlier), plus lots of castles and various ruins. We would highly recommend this house.

Greg and Annie's place is super nice and quiet. The cotage has a very cozy flair. For our 1 year old daughter, the extensive grounds with child-loving dog and trustworthy chickens were a dream. Greg and Annie is amazing. They are helpful, hospitable, warm and accommodating. We enjoyed the time very much and would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

despite Storm Darragh trying it's best to upset our stay Gerry made sure we were comfortable throught the storm providing g candles, torch and updates. cannot wait to revist in summer

hands down one of our favorite Airbnb stays. We'll stocked with baby play pens, toys, high chairs and activities for the little ones. such a peaceful stay, when asked for late checkout host allowed it! it was by far the most relaxing stay we had in Ireland

Eimhin and Jonny’s place was incredible. While I only stayed one night, I felt right at home. The breakfast was complete with parfaits, toast, coffee, juice, cereal, and a cheese, quiche, and scone plate prepared for each guest. What a thoughtful addition! The recommendations and instructions were helpful and thorough, and Jonny even gave me a lift to the bus stop so I didn’t have to lug my bags. I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. If you’re looking to stay near the cliffs, look no further - this place was an absolute dream.

This was such a cute and perfect Airbnb. Suzanne was a great host and so helpful to us. The only thing that needed improvement was the WiFi. Otherwise, it exceeded our expectations.

The perfect place to stay when exploring Doolin and surroundings. Super clean, spacious and bright. Comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. Feeling so relaxed after our stay!

We had a relaxing Christmas week break at Declan’s, from the moment we arrived we felt so comfortable. It was a home from home and the countryside scenery view is beautifully serene. We arrived in a thick fog and the sat nav took us straight to the front door with no problems finding the property as is it set is a rural part of the countryside. However, you can be in Ennistymon town within 5 mins in a car or Lahinch beach in 15 mins approx. The furniture and decor is nice, clean and modern in all rooms and there are some games boxes and books left to use. There is a cooker and microwave and the majority of crockery and utensils to use. We had a lovely family Christmas dinner here. The heating and hot water is superb. Declan gave clear instructions regarding location and heating. We will definitely keep this property in mind if we need again in future.

We could not have made a better choice. With elderly grandparents and two children, the cottage was perfectly furnished for every possible comfort. For the first time on our holiday, we had home made curry which was made possible by the well equipped and organised kitchen. The cottage has a strong character and is very cosy. The location is soooo peaceful that its actually heartbreaking to be leaving. My daughter loved the table football and board games available. A lot of thought has been put in by Frank into making the property welcoming for guests. We will definitely try to come back.

A truly unique and beautiful place! We loved our stay. The home was comfortable and well equipped. It was perfectly charming. The washer/dryer was appreciated. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We hope to stay here again on our next visit. 10/10

Perfect!! Kinvara was a great place to stay while exploring the west coast--and it was also lovely to have a "home base" in a wonderful community. The accommodations were exactly as the listing described and all communications were fast and clear. Highly recommend it!

We loved this cozy stay in Doolin. Even in the off season with unpredictable weather, we were able to enjoy the area and come back to the perfect refuge. Would highly recommend!

Marie's place was hands down the best Airbnb out of all the airbnbs I've stayed at during my 4 day Ireland trip , well renovated , spacious , overall an amazing experience. Marie and Tom were responsive to our needs and questions and flexible one night accomodation, would highly recommend this place!

Very enjoyable short stay here on Inis Mor for 4 nights, what an adventure! House had all amenities, and very comfortable and clean. We couldn't fault it! Bernie had left very clear instructions on how to check in and check out which made everything so easy. She also gave us plenty of recommendations of things to do on the island to keep us busy. Would love to come back again some day soon!

Honestly so very grateful for Gillian’s help and responsiveness. House is absolutely stunning, pictures don’t do it justice. Hot tub was fantastic. Every step of the way Gillian couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Ping pong table was great, we were able to have a tournament which went down great. 100% will be back

A very nice, quiet place to stay. Helen was quick to reply to my messages and flexible when we had to change our arrival time due to ferry delays. Place was very warm (esp the upstairs bedroom in the evening when both the heating and the fire are on). But the bathroom is cold so bring slippers for when you’re brushing your teeth if you stay in winter like we did! Kitchen was well equipped and stove in living room gave a great blaze! Wished I’d had more time off work so we could’ve stayed longer and enjoyed walks down the lane etc.
