Our first night in Newfoundland and everything went perfectly. This unit looks and smells like new. It is spotless and very nicely decorated. We slept really well. Lucille was very friendly and informative. Nice and clean room for the same price as some dirty well worn motel rooms. We will probably re-book again on our way back, the night before we take the Ferry home. Thanks again. Denis

We were absolutely delighted to stay at Art of the Ocean suite in Rocky Harbour as part of our trip to Newfoundland to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. Miranda’s place displaying many beautiful pieces of her custom artwork is outstanding and seeing her art gallery from the large, one-way window in the bedroom is truly a one & only, unique experience! Beautiful home, and location! Right on the water and walking distance to the beach. Lovely bone and great fire pit! Would definitely just again and recommend!

The property is amazing. The house was meticulous. Beds are super comfy. Catherine put a lot of thought on the little things, quality coffee, shampoo, body wash, bed linens etc. Catharine was very responsive to any questions. We will definitely book this property again when given the opportunity.

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine chez Dany. L'intérieur du chalet est très beau et bien entretenu. Il est super bien équipé et on se sent tout de suite à la maison (points bonus pour le gaufrier professionnel :P). La vue sur le fleuve est imprenable et les couchers de soleil se savourent de n'importe où dans ou hors la maison. La lumière est très belle en tout temps. Un lieu magique pour se ressourcer au rythme des marées. L'accès tout proche à la petite plage de galets est un atout pour les promenades. Le quartier est calme malgré le passage de la 132 tout proche et du coin un peu industrialisé avec la ville pas très loin. Dany était un super hôte, toujours à disposition et proactif. Merci encore pour tout, nous reviendrons si de passage en Gaspésie.

Très beau chalet avec une magnifique vue sur la mer. Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de la part d'André et Diane. C'est un endroit parfait pour se ressourcer ou passer du temps en famille et les gens de la région sont accueillants et chaleureux.

We were so grateful for this peaceful and quiet stay after a long day of travelling! Perfect location, 10 min drive from the Port aux Basques ferry, with beautiful scenery nearby. Ken and Liz’s place was absolutely spotless and we appreciated all the small touches to make us feel at home. Only wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area!
