Inti David is a great host who went above and beyond whenever we needed his help. His AirBnB is exactly as shown in the photos. The kitchen is gorgeous and had all the necessities needed for a short-term or longer stay. Living room is tastefully decorated and includes a large TV with Netflix that works well. Internet is stable and also worked really well the entire time. The open veranda in the front, however, is the best feature of this place and comes with a breathtaking view of Mount (Tayta) Imbabura. The AirBnB is centrally located and has several restaurants and shops within walking distance. It is a 3 minute walk from the main town center (Parque Central de Cotacachi) and 3 streets away from the famous Cotacachi Leather Street. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, whenever we had questions or had anything that required attention, Inti David responded almost immediately and was helpful throughout our stay. A lovely experience worth repeating. Hope to stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the four days we spent at Deborah's place. It was peaceful and the surroundings are incredibly beautiful. Since we don't speak Spanish, we would have had trouble if not for Deborah's attention and network of cab drivers. All in all, it was just what we needed after a very hectic time at work - it was even possible to get some of that in thanks to a high speed internet in the house.

Susana and Marco’s beautiful home in the “pueblo mágico” of Cotacachi was beyond our expectations in every way! Not only had the house been beautifully restored and modernized, but the details and finishes are exquisite. As well as being stunning, the house is also spacious, comfortable and offers everything one might need. Susana and Marco are excellent hosts, very accommodating and responsive. Because the house is located in the center of town, there is a bit of street noise and the bells of the church next door can be heard, but that is to be expected. All in all, a wonderful stay in a spectacular part of the country. We will be back!

I stayed there back in the spring and loved it so much that when my friends were going to Otavalo to help me with something I got them this house and they absolutely loved it. So much so that they extended their stay separate separately. I’m truly jealous because the place is great and so is Samia. Will definitely stay there the next time I’m in town.

FANTASTIC hosts of the most tranquil farm! By far our favorite place to stay out of our entire trip; it was the peace and nature we craved. They provided all the necessities to cook in the lovely kitchen with a volcano view. We loved making dinner with fresh veggies from the mercado after eating out for weeks on end. The cabin itself is so comfortable and cozy and the hot shower is amazing! We enjoyed our morning Spanish lessons chatting with Katty about anything and everything, & our comprehension got SO much better by the time we left! After our lessons, Leo gave us a ride to our adventure for the day. We explored Laguna de Cuichocha, Cotocachi, Ibarra, Peguche waterfall, and even got to have afternoon tea with Leo's friend at his family's artisan shop! We were not impressed by the mass-produced goods of Otavalo's market but thankfully found La Tierra, a small artesanía with quality goods made by locals who get 90% of the total cost. Thank you for a wonderful time Katty + Leo!! :)

This place is a hidden gem for the price. Located on the central park of Cotacachi it is not possible to be more convenient. Luis met us as agreed and personally took us to the apartment, explaining where things were in the town, where to shop, where to eat, etc. The apartment was clean, well equipped and exactly as described. Have stayed in numerous airbnb's over the years, this one is by far the best in terms of value, location, and functionality. Luis and his wife being friendly and helpful was an added bonus.

Patricio’s place is close to many restaurants and shopping. The apartment itself is very nice and clean. Highly recommended, I’ve stayed there twice and it’s well worth the money. For light sleepers, the bedrooms face the street, so that’s the only negative.
