Vacation rentals with a patio in Cook County

We had a great stay up this lovely space. Lisa communicated really well with us, an arrival was very easy, even in the dark. The space has beautiful light, great views, and is super convenient to lots of things in the area. The sleeping spaces are quiet and cozy.

Had a wonderful time with two moms and three kids under 10. Lots of space, fun things to do, very well appointed for families.

Jenny’s place is amazing. The setting is picture-perfect, peaceful, and less than 10 minutes from Grand Marais. Jenny is also one of the friendliest and most helpful hosts I’ve ever worked with. She made our entire group feel welcome and at home right away. The house itself - and the separate cabin - are all beautifully decorated and designed in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright. Everything is labeled and easy to find, and the hosts provide a bevy of amenities and supplies. It’s wonderful that they allow pets. Also, incredibly, the space is kept immaculately clean even with pers allowed. This home is frankly cleaner than many non-pet Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. This is the perfect spot for a small group to get away on the north shore and to enjoy Grand Marais and the surrounding area.

We had a wonderful time at Loretta's Lodge! Didn't want to leave! The views and accommodations were spectacular and perfect for our group of 8! The sauna and games in lower level were a big hit with our kids. Came to ski at Lutsen Resort, but would love to stay again sometime, maybe in the summer, to walk the hiking trails and enjoy some of the businesses that weren't open in March. Had a great time!

Always enjoy visiting Grand Marais, but this beautifully decorated, bright and airy home is the perfect place to soak in the peaceful surroundings! The inviting space has thoughtful touches of home with the amazing beauty of living plants to bring nature inside to nurture your soul! We enjoyed our visit so much and can’t wait to return!❤️

Three of us had a wonderful wintery stay in early February. The house was great--cozy and comfortable with an incredibly well stocked kitchen and an epic bathtub! We took advantage of the gorgeous private sauna every single day and even had a bonfire one night at dust. The proximity to Lake Superior is another plus--as soon as you step outside the house you can hear the waves from the shore! Deidra was a wonderful host. She provided so many recommendations for the North Shore and even offered an early check in since the house was not occupied the night before our arrival. The snacks, welcome note and local gifts (wine, cider, maple syrup and pancake mix) made us feel welcome and appreciated. We hope to stay again in the summer when we can spend even more time outside enjoying the lake.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Lake Superior retreat while volunteering and spectating at the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon. The location was perfect—peaceful, scenic, and provided easy access to key race spots like the checkpoint Sky port, Otter Lake road crossing, and the Grand Portage finish. It was also an easy drive to Grand Marais for dining and exploring. The cabin is a perfect mix of rustic charm and comfort, with stunning lake views and cozy in-floor heating. After long days out in the cold, it was the perfect place to warm up and unwind. Tiffany was an excellent host—extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. The property’s history, nearby Hovland Dock, and surrounding trails make this a special place for any North Shore adventure. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax and explore this beautiful area!

Would highly recommend! Comfortably fit our large group. Loved cozying up next to the fire after long days of skiing!

Lutsen has been a favorite of ours since our first trip over 20 years ago. It’s a hike getting there from SE Wisconsin but always well worth it. The skiing in Lutsen is as close as you’re going to get to big mountain skiing in the Midwest. The condo was very clean and has fitting decorations. The key for the pool area and parking passes were hanging just inside the door. The private deck offered a nice area to take in the mountain air after dark and also in the early AM. There was a band after the main lift closed at 4 PM. Also fireworks when the secondary lift closed at 8 PM. So many things to do! We will definitely be back!

Amazing place! Loved the fireplace and the pool/hottub. It was perfect for our very cold weekend. The host was amazing with my questions and responded within minutes.

Very nice and comfortable. The corner unit affords a good view of the surroundings. Ski in and out was nice. You can sleep 4 but it is probably not big enough for 4 adults. We were 2 and that was great. The pull out couch mattress was comfortable, kitchen well stocked. A ski trail map would be nice to include in the unit for winter guests.

Perfect place for ski vacation at Lutsen Mountain. True ski in ski out! Bed is very comfortable. Balcony has a beautiful view of the ski mountain and slopes.

We've stayed on the North Shore lots and this place is by far one of the best. Great view of the Great Lake, which is always our main priority, AND so many nice touches here. We were so impressed with the well appointed kitchen, including all the things you would expect plus extras like a rice cooker, crockpot, electric griddle, French press, sharp knives, cookie sheets, muffin tin, juice pitchers, and more. We also appreciated comfortable beds, plenty of towels, fireplace, white noise machines...gosh, it seems Casey has thought of everything. While we didn't use the pool, hot tub or sauna, it is nice to have that option. We were delighted to enjoy games of 8-ball on the very nice pool table in the game room, and select from the wide choices of board games in the lobby. Highly recommend!
