Secluded Country Cottage

TeresaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A cosy yet spacious , welcoming cottage in beautiful, and very peaceful , private surroundings. Directions were very easy to follow. We arrived in complete darkness, yet had no problem in finding this lovely property which was very warm and inviting after a long drive. Everything we needed to make a cuppa on arrival and also a very thoughtful gifts of fresh eggs and Prosecco. Exactly what we were searching for for and more.. We couldn't believe how well we slept each night as the super king bed is so comfy and the bedding is very luxurious. No road noise, just birds singing. Bliss.. We got to explore many beautiful places each day within short driving distances and enjoyed a walk along the private drive and onto the quiet lanes surrounding the cottage. We even enjoyed the stargazing opportunity from the lovely spacious walled garden and was very reassuring to know our dog was safe within the garden boundaries. We would 100% recommend and plan to book again. Thank you! :)

Big and comfortable bathrooms. great fireplace and living room and very nice garden. The location is close to all north wales attractions and some pubs and restaurants are within 10-15 minutes drive. Beautiful 16th Century Ty Cerrig Cottage -set in s

We had a lovely stay. Alison met us on arrival and we had a lovely chat with her and her husband. Both were extremely friendly but also left us to our stay unless we needed them . The house was just lovely with everything we needed plus extras such as board games and coal for the BBQ when asked. The house is set in a lovely location great for wildlife lovers and just generally peaceful. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay

Ysgubor - a 5 bedrm farm cottage in snowdonia

KateRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wonderful stay for extended family including 7 adults, 2 children and a baby. Margaret met us for check in and was very friendly. Her house was even better than shown in the photos. It felt like home from home. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great games room with table football, table tennis and pool. It's a working farm and we loved going down to the barns each morning to see the lamb arrivals. Margaret's husband Dewi was often there to chat and tell us all about the sheep. So informative and friendly. We highly recommend staying here and are keen to return. 5 stars from us!

Beautiful Countryside Cottage in Coastal town

DesRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely cottage for four, vaulted ceilings give a feeling of space. The cottage was warm and cozy, good heating. Cerys responded very quickly to a couple of questions I had. The water pressure was abnormally low at the time of our stay, which was only a couple of nights. Furnished to high standard and had a lovely homely feel to it and would recommend a stay for others.

Luxury Snowdonia cottage with hot tub

MitchellRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We wanted a complete break from our busy lives and wanted to be in the middle of nowhere for months. Through the Farmhouse, we achived it completely. Its an amazing house in an amazing location. The house itself is so homely and we started to relax as soon as we walked through the door. Lisa and Martin were great right from the start and we couldnt have asked for better host's, so repsonsive and accomodating with numerous requests beforehand. Everything had been so thought through in the welcome book that if we had any questions what so ever, it was all to hand. The kids (age 7 & 10) loved it, walking and cycling round the lakes and up in the mountains, they gave our week away a 10 out of 10 which is normally unheard of. And it's mostly down to having the perfect base to go exploring and then coming back to the farmhopuse, absoulty shattered and then settling in for a few board games or a film. They loved it so much they that have asked if we can go back !! Thank you so much

Ty Newydd

DanRating, 5 stars20 months ago
Ty Newydd is fabulous! It is farm buildings converted into a spacious self-catering accommodation. We went with two families together, so 2 married couples and 4 kids. The indoor space is well laid-out and we didn't feel cramped at all. It's quite remote, and quiet, with amazing views up the valley towards Conwy and Llandudno. We could see the Orme! The place has a feeling of peace. It is well-equipped, and there was a lovely welcome basket of goodies. It felt comfy and welcoming. The bed I slept in was really good. It was all very clean, and the instructions from the centre were clear and helpful. It is part of the Bodnant estate so there is walking on the estate that is not available to non-guests. A couple of things to point out. The road is single track with high banks and few passing places (but quiet), with some steep sections. It is all roads, no tracks. It is almost a bungalow, but there are 5 steps between the living block and the sleeping block - might be an issue for some.

We have just returned from a week at The Old Piggery. What a beautiful, quirky, charming and cosy wee conversion - it had everything that we needed and the decor throughout was just beautiful and all very fresh and clean. The surroundings were stunning and there was lots to do within a short drive. It was perfect for my wife and I and our dog. We would return to the Old Piggery in a heartbeat 💓.

Pandy: an historic mill in Snowdonia National Park

SusanRating, 5 stars3 months ago
A beautifully restored mill in a wonderful location. We really enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Pandy Mill was even more gorgeous than in the photos and was very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The location is stunning - by a fast flowing river with falls and pools, in the foothills of Mount Snowden with wonderful mountain views and walks from the garden into woodland and onto the Snowden Slate Trail. Niall was a kind, welcoming and attentive host. Pandy Mill is the perfect location for a long weekend away for 6. We are looking forward to returning when the weather is warm enough for river swims.

It’s one of the hidden gem of a place , the place was nicely furnished and maintained to a very high standards . The kitchen was fully equipped with all the basic equipment needed along with basic condiments. WiFi in every room what more could you ask for when you travel with kids . We had excellent weather and the too bad we couldn’t spend more time in the well curated garden or the sun room . Graham was excellent host and ensured and checked on us all through the stay . Definitely would recommend this place

Luxury rural Betws-y-coed cottage

RichardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely place to stay. Great location positioned perfectly for the many things to do in north Wales, right next to the beautiful town of Betws-y-Coed. It’s possible to walk into town and back, but it is a very steep hill, so only do this if you’re up for the challenge (or need to walk off some calories after a meal at one of the many great restaurants). The property was perfectly kept. Beautifully renovated and with the main amenities needed for a family of four. Ffion was a graceful host, with good recommendations for the area (and a warning about the previously mentioned climb back from town). A very recommended property!

A cosy Farmhouse set in idyllic North Wales

AnnetteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our second visit here, it is a wonderful house to stay in, it has everything you need and is very clean and spacious. It is really dog friendly with an enclosed garden, dog towels, bowls and even a biscuit for each of them 😀. It is lovely and quiet with a beautiful view. So relaxing with nearby beaches and reservoirs for great walks with the dogs. Would not hesitate to stay here again, Darryl is a great host. Thoroughly recommend for a very relaxing, peaceful holiday.
