Wonderful cabin in a peaceful location along the river. Space was clean and hosts were very responsive. Stayed here during spring break with kids. They loved exploring out doors, playing along the river, and seeing the wildlife. Highly recommend staying with kids or as a romantic get away.

Beautiful space and definitely a good time! The hosts were super welcoming and it was overall just a great environment. We stayed near our tent a lot but enjoyed all of our interactions with the Robertson family.

If you love animals and want some quality R&R, look no further. This place has it all, from horseback riding to hiking to good home cooked meals. An incredible experience on the ranch and an even more incredible family. I felt at home and was well taken care of.

Cowboy School House (High Plains Drift Inn)

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. There are no words to describe how much I appreciated the hosts and comfort of staying here, but I will try. The Robertson family is so friendly, helpful, and such a joy to be around. They worked with my schedule and made me feel right at home. Elisha and Carrie were the perfect hosts. Every morning we'd have great conversations during breakfast that they woke up extra early to make for me. RV was amazing to talk to as well and we spent hours on my last day swapping stories. I got great news while I was there and they were so happy for me I felt like I was telling my own family! Overall, this was a wonderful visit, a great stay, I loved the location and the rustic but modern feel of the cabins, and everyone was just so friendly, welcoming, and wonderful to be around. I can't wait to visit again!

The family and staff were very friendly and helpful. Great experience with all the animals, our kid had a great time petting them and was engaged in something other than his phone. If you do go camping I would recommend bringing a table and a canopy since it's high plains and there is minimal trees. Overall, super cool place to stay and was a great home base for our visit.
