Beautiful getaway for our 20th anniversary. We came for the BBQ stayed for the alone time. Secluded , very clean comfortable home. We really enjoyed the outdoor setting! The owners were quick to respond . We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay.

The bunkhouse was the perfect romantic getaway spot. Great little house with a large comfy bed, private hot tub, and peaceful surroundings. Seeing the deer in the morning were a nice treat as well. Downtown Wimberley, with all the amazing shops and restaurants, is a 5 min drive and there is an HEB just up the road. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway.

Stayed here for my birthday and had the best time away from the city! The cabin had everything we needed and more. The beds were soft and relaxing. Plenty of blankets and towels. My favorite part was the hot tub which was on and ready to go as soon as we got there. The grill and the indoor/outdoor fireplaces were amazing. I would definitely book again!

We were well accommodated . Our needs were met within ample time which was great! In my opinion because of the timing or the season we definitely were not able to use the jacuzzi and I only wish our price was discounted maybe by 10-15%. Really no complaints we were satisfied, protest was clean and very inviting for much warmer weather .

This property is exceptional. As many reviews say, the pictures do not do this place justice. I brought my fiance here for a little getaway to escape the hustle of our entrepreneurial lives, and this not only helped us reconnect with nature but give us a nice reset to come back home refreshed. We used essentially every amenity available from the hot tub, available board games, made a small fire to roast marshmallows, and then had a wonderful morning coffee greeted by the local livestock. Thank you David for an exceptional experience. We’ll certainly be back.

We stayed here while waiting to close on our new home in Blanco, TX. We stayed for close to a week. We loved how quiet the place was and how it was out in the country but still close to restaurants and downtown Gruene! The house had everything we needed! My husband and I both work from home, and the internet was fast. We would definitely stay again!

We found it very challenging to find a place that a) would allow 3 dogs; and b) would give us [and them] a private and relaxed environment for a weekend getaway. Maria and Larry's cabin was the perfect solution for us. It was clean, beautiful, secluded and exactly as advertised. The sauna and home theater setup were very nice treats and, more than anything, we enjoyed being surrounded by quiet nature. We definitely wouldn't hesitate to book this stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin for our anniversary! The location was peaceful with stunning views of Canyon Lake. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We loved the outdoor area and how close it was to nature. The host was very kind, responsive and flexible, couldn’t have asked for a better host experience! We’re definitely coming back! Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind! We also took a trip to San Antonio, and the drive was perfect for us!

The host's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the cabin. The towels, pillows, sheets, and extra bedding were all top-notch, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The cabin, which has been in the family for many years, beautifully blends old-school charm with modern amenities and rustic touches. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the beautiful decorations throughout the cabin added a lovely touch. One of the highlights was the farm-fresh eggs provided by the host – such a thoughtful and delicious addition! This was a very peaceful, cute cabin. It was very comfortable and close to many places. We stayed over Thanksgiving and were just 15 minutes from our family for celebrating. We had our dog Bella, a bloodhound, with us that loved all the smells! Had a great time!! Thank you!

Wonderful location on the Guadalupe River that felt away and yet not far from Gruene and downtown New Braunfels. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck with the river flowing right below. The house is cozy, clean, and includes plenty of amenities. Our host was super responsive to questions within minutes. A great experience.

We had a great time at Carrie’s place. We had the whole area to ourselves and the view was very nice and peaceful.

This was the absolute perfect place for our family of 4 to getaway this Thanksgiving. The views were terrific. Our favorite spot was the fire pit. We had S'mores both nights and made the best memories. We had no issues during our stay, but Stephanie and Ben were super responsive leading up to and after our visit. This was by far one of the best places we've stayed.

absolutely worth every penny! I stayed with my 2.5 year old toddler, my 8m old baby, husband and my 69 yo father, everyone had a blast. The cabin looks exactly like the photos and the hosts are super professional and responsive. the only thing that was not perfect was the check in was late due to cleaning team's lack of punctuality and difficulty to communicate with English but that's not the host's fault. host has been super amazing before, during and after. we'll come back again and definitely recommending this to all of our friends in the area.

This is a wonderful A-frame cabin. We had 10 ladies stay at the cabin and it was comfortable. It’s very trendy and super clean. Some things to consider is that there is not a bathroom upstairs, but there are two really nice bathrooms downstairs. There is only a window unit that cools upstairs and so it did feel stuffy, but as the night cooled down, it became more comfortable. When you are looking for the entrance off the highway, it is still in the early stages and so the road is pretty bumpy and comes up abruptly, there is not a lot of signage lit up to show you where it is. I do suspect that will get better as they continue to work on the beautiful property. The parking at the home is suitable, but be aware that the entrance to the home is not facing where you park and we did have one individual who was using a walker and had to go over bumpy terrain. But it was doable. There may be further enhancing to get safely to the front door, but it appears there are ongoing updates.

We stayed here to attend a wedding at The Preserve. This was nicely located. We were a little skeptical when we drove up, but that was quickly forgotten when we walked inside. There are deer and wildlife around which was really nice. Inside was clean and cozy. Very cutely designed. Very nice bathroom towel as The only downfall is that the bed was a bit small and soft.

Our family of 8 enjoyed staying at Sarah's place. She was even nice enough to open her dates early so we could find a place before booking tickets for a BBQ fest event. Everyone had a bed & there was ample bathroom space for all. Standouts were architecture/design, nights around the fire, ping pong, large relaxing spaces, stocked kitchen & coffee/tea bar, house sound system & record player, bedroom blackout shades, & the view through the large windows. We used every amenity!! It's close to everywhere. A few thing to be aware of: you have to bring your own fire wood but they provide lighter fluid & fire starters (our starters were empty but we made due), the area is under construction with several rentals in progress that look like they are abandoned (not a big deal to us, just a fact), & Google maps will direct you about 100ft past the entrance so be vigilant for the turn especially at night. Overall, we really liked our stay & would recommend it to others when in the area!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was a beautiful home with amazing views. Trinidad and Samantha were super responsive and kind hosts! We would definitely like to stay here again in the future.
