We were in the area for a wedding and enjoyed the cottage before and after the event. Upon arrival, a basket filled with sweets awaited us: chocolate, cake, wine, cheese and bottles of wine, and we were very touched by this attention. We were able to enjoy the hot tub, there was also a ping pong table, in short, enough to pass the time. Despite the rainy weather we were able to enjoy the garden furniture during a clearing… In addition, Hannah was always available to communicate with us when needed but we did not have the chance to meet her in person and I hope we will have the opportunity one day. In short, I highly recommend this lovely cottage where it's nice to stay. Valerie and Daniel

The cabin leaves plenty of space around the bed. For us, only a coffee maker was missing. In our case it was a stopover night so perfect. The garden is adorable and leaves privacy. The bathrooms are outside as expected and very well thought out nevertheless I thought them closer to the cabin (a little tricky when it rains (it was not our case)). Sabrina welcomed us with kindness:)

That's someone who knows how to host! Maxine is adorable. The accommodation is very cozy and pleasant despite the main room which is not very bright. The stove heats very well, good quality bedding, impeccable cleaning. Possibility of horseback riding or hiking nearby. The area is very quiet and the locals are very nice. Thanks for everything.

Gatien & Laura's home is in a country setting! Very relaxing! The center of Saint Hilaire remains very accessible by the Véloscénie! The accommodation is functional and tastefully arranged! Gatien and Laura welcomed us and gave us advice! For our bikes, there was a dedicated space :-)

This place is beautiful! It is spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The setting is private and peaceful, but just a short drive from a lovely village with a grocery store, bakery and small restaurant. Our host was extremely kind and helpful, quick to respond to any questions. We would happily stay here again.

Debbie & Guy are absolutely adorable. Looks like they've thought of everything to make you feel at home. Numerous activities are available: pétanque, mini-golf, foosball and of course swimming pool. La Grande Cheminée is a very quiet and warm place 1 hour from Mont Saint-Michel. In short, I highly recommend it!!! 👍❤️😊

If airbnb could create a 6th star, Norbert would definitely deserve it! we loved this stay, the highlights: - upstream communication with explanations to find the accommodation (photo by text) - excellent hospitality with real attention from Norbert - clean accommodation and the decor is (according to our taste) awesome! - The place is peaceful and relaxing - the wood stove guarantees pleasant and cozy evenings - Our host remained available for the entire stay. Impeccable house and hospitality. There is really everything you need in the house. The hostess is really too nice. A little extra about the house is that you can eat outside on a lawn that is very well maintained like the whole place. Recommended, we'll be happy to go back.
