Monthly Rentals in Coggeshall

This was a well needed break for myself and my husband. Ann and Steve are so lovely, giving us a warm welcome and a lovely goodie box. Our pups loved the garden and had a great time running about with their dogs. Walks were plentiful and the sunshine was welcome. We took the short walk to the village hall where enjoyed the beer festival. We took our own airfryer and had a food delivery which all worked really well. So much so we have booked a return visit for next year. A perfect quiet haven which remains in character and true of the old black smith cottage. Our recent stay here was a last minute booking as our home was being renovated, we arrived tired and frazzled. On arrival we found that the fridge had been stocked with provisions that enabled us to have a cup of tea and toast, it's these small acts of kindness that make all the difference. The apartment is comfortable, clean and the garden view is delightful. The hosts Jan and Dave can not be faulted! Considerate, quick to respond to any communication and friendly who made us feel welcomed. We would highly recommend a stay here.

The Cart Lodge was absolutely perfect. The living space was comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were very comfy, and the shower had really good water pressure. There was lots of natural light in the property from all the windows, and the views across the countryside were just beautiful. The local treats left for us on arrival were a lovely surprise, and Angela was a very friendly and communicative host. We would definitely recommend!
