Our home is 'on the beach' and is situated midway between Greymouth and Punakaiki. We offer a self contained unit on the ground floor of our home. The beach is just a few steps away and is great for walking. Punakaiki is 20 minutes from the house, Greymouth is also 20 minutes and Hokitika airport is a 50 minute drive to the south. Greymouth offers a range of eateries and there is a pub and hotel in Punakaiki. We are situated on state high way 6, which is well known for its spectacular scenery.

The place doesn't look much from the outside but it is a great place to stay. Plenty of room, good kitchen and bathroom. As a wheelchair user the bathroom was a little small but still useable. You also get good WIFI and you are very close to the shops, restaurants and the beach.

Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.
