The local village is Ballinspittle, which offers all the basics and a few surprises.

The Coach House is an ideal spot for a romantic hideaway on the Wild Atlantic Way. The mezzanine bedroom boasts a kingsize sleigh bed , overlooking a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove for warming your hands and feet after a walk on the beach or a dip in the sea. For small families the sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Lovely refurbished, cottage (semi-d),glass front downstairs overlooking sea, stunning sea views from every room, overlooks lovely long beach. Seaview has been a family holiday home for twenty years and is much loved. Dunworley is a fabulous tidal beach and Moloneys is also lovely. There is a lively and friendly local country pub, great restaurants locally & fabulous local food produce in local co-op store. Breathtaking walks from front door. Good news we now have wifi.

Harbour Lights

If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property directly on the sea, looking at the Bere Island Lighthouse, very quite and private within walking distance to Castletownbere. It has a private automatic gate and the property has a slipway to the sea. Beautiful area to go canoeing. Seals can be seen from time to time. You can watch the Castletownbere fishing boat going out to sea.
