Great location for visiting the town or enjoying nearby Lough Derg. Place was perfect and host was extremely helpful and responsive throughout.

Owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. He ensured that we knew how to go about the house and our comfort was taken care of. Very easy to communicate with. Absolutely beautiful backyard view.

lovely place to stay, lovely village.

we stayed in Gillian's lovely large house for 3 weeks and entertained various family members, from my 94 year old Mother to my 11 month old grandson. The house is in a great setting and close enough to Shannon airport to enable us to pick up our guests within 20/30 mins the views of the lake from the patio were lovely. The large family kitchen table was the focus for relaxing mealtimes where we put the world to rights! Weather was the normal mixed bag of Irish weather - but can't blame Gillian for that! Overall I would recommend this home for a relaxing revitalizing break.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place. A rare gem on the planet earth. Beautiful grounds. Convenient to marina for water fun but far enough to feel like you are in a different world. Find yourself in the woods or in the fairy trail or on the dock by the lake. Perfect place for a family get together. We enjoyed our stay and the host, Nina, was amazing and helpful for all our needs. Highly recommended.

This was a really great place to stay! Great location for taking in Doolin (short < 5 min drive to the centre) and a perfect jump off point for a day tour of the Aran Islands. The views from the house across the field over the ocean and across to the Inis Oirr was amazing. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Christine and Tom are great hosts. My son and I had a wonderful and peaceful time at their home. Upon our arrival, we didn’t have a car, but Christine and Tom made sure we had enough food in the kitchen. After a long journey, we were very tired. The next day, Christine helped us arrange a car, and not only that, they even drove us to Shannon Airport to pick it up. We were truly touched by their kindness and generosity. I highly recommend their place. If you’re looking to get away from the daily crowds and enjoy some absolute peace, this is the perfect place. Couldn’t ask for more. Samira & Rhys D’Cruz

This is a cottage furnished with great taste and style, hidden away in a peaceful country lane. It feels like a well-maintained home. Raytus is happy to respond to queries.

We stayed here for 1 week with our 2-year old and loved it. It was the perfect base to day-trip around Co. Clare and there are plenty of activities and sights to keep a toddler entertained in the area. The house is just a minute's walk from shops and restaurants, but is on a quieter street so there's not much noise. The house itself is great - bigger and brighter than the photos would suggest and with a lovely big back-garden. Very comfortable bed and great shower. The kitchen was great - spacious and filled with all you would need to cook meals. We also loved the welcome pack!

The cottage is in a rural area, very beautiful and quiet, with woods and meadows nearby; it is spacious, with a large living room and a lovely veranda overlooking the lawn. Sally was a helpful and very courteous host. It was a perfect stay.

We had a lovely stay at Audrey’s house, every thing was as expected, very clean and spacious,outlook to front through the glass sliding doors looked out across to the park . We were met by Paul who showed us around and said we were to contact him if there were any problems of which were none, we have been going to Mountshannon for 26yrs now, it is a lovely wee village and the people are so friendly, we will definitely be back

We had a lovely stay in this peaceful little cottage. Very cosy with the fire. Was very warm up on the mezzanine.

The recently renovated appartement was very nice, confortable and nicely decorated. It was definitely enough for 5 people. Our hosts were accomodating to our late arrival and were very nice, they gave us useful tips where to find something to eat late in the area. The surroundings were very peaceful and we could have a good rest. I Definitely recommend it.

The Stables were a great find for our family of eight. Nice modern bathrooms with soft towels in every room was a win for us. Kitchen was well equipped with every crockery and utensil we could want. Friendly animals and of course gorgeous and massive private grounds. Pat and Annette were a text away for any concerns, but we had none! The radiant heat worked great and we enjoyed the mountain of dry wood for the stove in the evenings. Their custom curated guide book is a must read for places to go and things to do in the area.
