Wonderful stay and a beautiful home. Close enough to town, but also nicely tucked away. A great base to explore the area. The hot tub was a particular treat to ease those aching bones after a day’s activity. Excellent and communicative host. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying at Garn Yam! The cottage was really cosy and comfortable, and we were surprised by just how warm it was (even in rainy November!). The fire was a particular highlight for us. The location was great - very close to Ambleside. The parking space was also super helpful. We would definitely stay at Garn Yam again, and recommend to our friends and family.

Fabulous apartment in Grasmere. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, beautifully decorated. Everything you need for a stay away from home . Excellent communication.

This is a fantastic place, we have stayed here several times previously and look forward to staying here again. Check in is via a key safe making access very convenient. The bungalow is extremely clean, well appointed, warm and comfortable. Joe is always available and responds quickly to any communication. Joe always leaves a variety of treats for both humans and dogs which is greatly appreciated. We have already booked to come here again and would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in the Lake District as it is a perfect base for access to other areas within the Lakes.

The Folly was a fantastic place to stay in Ambleside offering a private location that is a 5 minute walk from the centre. The accommodation was very cosy, with everything you'd need for a short stay in the Lake District. Wayne was a warm host and was very helpful whenever we interacted. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a Lake District getaway and want somewhere unique and private.

An amazing cottage, ideal for a solo visitor. Great central location. The main car park was only a short walk away and you can pay remotely so no worries about running short of time. I will definitely be back for another stay.

Really cannot fault this beautiful little cottage. It is so well done and everything about it is spot on. Extremely comfy beds, sofas and well equipped kitchen. As long as you are ok with a steep walk/drive up the short hill, then this is the place for you. Coniston is just a short walk down the hill, with a variety of good pubs. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!

Lovely house and as described with all amenities in a quiet location. Close to Hawkshead which was great. Tricky to walk to the pub (Outgate Inn) with kids at night as road very narrow and a little dangerous. Also shame there is no gate to provide access to the fields in front of the property….The gate at the side is closed. Thanks very much for a great stay…

We had a great time at the Conga! It was the perfect place to stay to explore the surrounding area. We travelled here via train to Windermere then got the bus to Ambleside - it was very easy to get to without a car! The cottage itself was so cosy, with beautiful views from the bedroom and a really comfy bed. Jem was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We really recommend the Conga to anyone who wants to visit Ambleside !
