Vacation rentals with breakfast in City of Colchester

Julie and really enjoyed our stay at the Dower House. Location was perfect. The accommodation was very comfortable. When it was hot on arrival, there was an effective floor fan. When it was cold, (which it was the next couple of days), the heating went on. Nothing was too much trouble. We appreciated the in house entertainment too. We’d recommend the place to anyone. Thank you Gwyn. (We enjoyed walking Milo the dog too!)

Andy and Carol were very friendly and welcoming. Location is absolutely nice and hassle-free. We spent a great time with our kids. Kids have lot to do there. Definitely recommend to other people who looking for a pleasurable stay.

The Old Post Office is a real gem - perfect for a couple. It is beautifully appointed with lots of character. It has a new shower room and kitchen with everything we need. Karen provides a very generous welcome basket - with eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, butter, jam, milk, coffee, tea, juice and a bottle of Prosecco! We didn't have to worry about getting breakfast. Wickham Market itself is very picturesque with grocery shops open until late in the evening. It is a great base for Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge and Southwold - which we visited. There are also two pubs nearby - The Greyhound and the Crown - both of which have an excellent restaurant. Karen is very helpful. We accidently left our cool bag in the house and she offered to post it back to us. All in all, we highly recommend staying here.

A great little cottage in the centre of the village. It was the perfect location for us, visiting family.

Melissa’s place was amazing, so clean! Great location, only 10min walk to the Elizabeth line and plenty of stores around. Favorite spot was the coffee shop at the end of the street, Mazing Bistro Cafe, delicious coffee and super friendly staff. We will be back to Melissa’s next year!

Just back from an amazing stay what can I say great hosts there if you need them and make you feel so at home stunning place we were there for a paddle boarding weekend and had the most amazing stay Thankyou to tessa and her husband for making us feel so welcome the barn is cosy has everything you need with added breakfast things provided stunning village nice pub 1 mins walk perfect will def return 😊

Caro was an incredible host! Nothing was too much trouble. She was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is beautiful, very homely and quaint. We loved our stay and are hoping to come back - highly recommend!

Great place, easy access, clean and comfortable

We stayed at Stuart's apartment for a weekend and were very happy with our stay. The apartment was clean, tidy, spacious and functional located a very short walk from the town centre with pubs, bars and restaurants all nearby. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit Ipswich or just for time away to relax.

Really enjoyed my stay , both Rachel and Marilyn very helpful and responsive to messages. It was an ideal location personally for me visiting relatives . Very comfortable bed. Lovely to have some provisions for breakfast especially the homemade marmalade . It was good to meet Marilyn the owner who made me feel very welcome.

Bertie and staff were great. We had a fantastic time and the full breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed a pint in the bar attached to the apartment and the atmosphere was right up our alley. If we're ever back in Southend on Sea we be contacting Bertie first.

The “Cowshed “was perfect for our stay. Situated in the grounds of a beautiful old farmhouse with a majestic in and out drive. The pub across the road does amazing food with excellent sevice.(try the pie for 2 😋) Jacky was a friendly and attentive host. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m in the area. Lesley's home was very conveniently located near where our business meetings are as well as all the shops and restaurants that we needed on the 5 days we spent in Chelmsford. Her home is pristine and the room where we stayed is very restful. Lesley is a brilliant host, getting out of her way to provide us with one of the best service we've had in an AirBNB stay and we have been in quite a few. I stayed for 3 weeks doing an educational program. The Nest Box was nicely set up and quiet for studying. It is located in a safe neighborhood close enough to town for a nice walk.

Great PLace for a quick stay, Nasreen has a wonderful home and knows the area - providing great recomendations.

Exceptional hosts, wonderful, cozy, clean, and peaceful place, great countryside walks on your doorstep and restaurants and shops in walking distance. Accommodation was spacious and we had everything we could think of, even though the shower room is quite small, it serves its purpose well. Elaine couldn’t do more for us and we really enjoyed our stay with her and Teg. The breakfast really is out of this world and the attention to detail in everything Elaine does is something to be experienced. Hopefully will come back! Many thanks for everything Elaine and Teg.

Such a charming place to stay in a beautiful village. When I first walked into the annex I felt like I had entered a posh hotel room! Thoroughly enjoyed the spacious shower and the few extra snack/breakfast bits that were added to the room were such a nice touch. I felt very at home. Thank you so much both for a perfect stay!
