Beachfront vacation rentals in Christchurch

This place is a slice of paradise with fantastic views, and a tastefully curated space which has to be seen to be appreciated. We really didn’t want to leave! Nick’s communications were quick, friendly and helpful.

If you havent visited banks of peninsula and iconic getaway isolated, tranquil spots, then its a must. Awesum walks, diamond harbour, cute cafe n lovely eatery only 2 or 3 kms away. track to get there for the adventurous. James has evryrhing in the well equipped room if you need for cooking etc. Very relaxing. loved it all!

Great location and over 8 days the place felt like home with the outside deck area providing great flow from inside to the outside. The inside was clean and Ann provided very quick response to help get the WiFi running again after it stopped. Fun location to host friends and family. Would recommend and will stay again.

overall a great stay. the flat was as expected, fully functional and good equipped. access to the beach was nice, especially to observe the early sunrise. it's outside of New Brighton, to shops and bars it would be a 6+km walk (a bit long). there is a bus stop in front of the house which brings you to New Brighton in 10-15 min and into the city (bus interchange) in 40-45 minutes. with a car you probably would be better off. but it was absolutely OK without. the host Robert is a very nice guy. we had some good chats.

Great location, walking distance to shops, nice apartment and easy to access. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous location. walking distance to beach, ships, restaurants. welcoming house with Large and spacious rooms with great amenities. Spotlessly clean, kid friendly, trampoline a winner and BBQ. will recommend.

Perfect location to the beach and to the town center! Lots of room, although some of the furniture needs to be replaced. We enjoyed our stay very much! Too bad when the development across the street finishes, it will block the view of the beach.

We loved our stay and hope to come and stay again. Very comfortable and great location to beach and cafes.

We know Sumner well and Debbie’s accommodation was to be a new experience for us. It was superb. The accommodation is the whole house which is ideal for longer stays. The instructions were perfect and the house immaculate. The welcome ‘pack’ even included a bottle of Sumner sparkling wine. The house is 100m from the beach, 200m from the shops including a well stocked supermarket. There are coffee bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Debbie made early contact with us and we felt very welcome. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Sumner.

Chris is a fantastic host, he responded to our questions promptly and supplied an iron which was in the original amenities at time of booking. He also personally explained why some facilities are present in the unit but were not in the listing or functional. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Chris' place.

The Sumner location was great for access to the beach and hiking trails. The place was very clean and spacious for the two of us. Megan responded to a couple of questions I had immediately. Highly recommended

Really thank Frank's hospitality and everthing. The view of the house is fabulous and is really near the christchurch.Frank just like our father sharing his thoughts and travelling experience with us. Behind the sececrt door there is wall full of all kinds of asia spice and herbs. You can use everything! Now we complete it with Chinise Soy Liquid and Cooking Wine( ⁼̴̀ .̫ ⁼̴́ )✧. We will definite come back this place and recommend to everybody we know. Great stay. Wonderful house. The path down to the beach was very handy. Loved it all!

Lovely quiet and comfortable apartment with all we needed very close to the beach and excellent cafes/restaurants. Chris and Annie were fabulous hosts.
