Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Chic's Beach, Virginia Beach

This was an AMAZING SPACE!!. Great floorplan, great amenities, and it will be a perfect space for your family. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed and more.. The beds, pillows, and linens were very comfortable, and the kitchen had PLENTY of tableware and utensils for the family. My family and I will certainly return.

We had an excellent stay at Brian’s home! The house was pristine, fully stocked with everything you could need and very close to the beach. The street was quiet with minimal traffic and the fenced backyard was perfect for our dog and small children to play. An added bonus to this home was the game room and children’s toys and books. This is the first place we have stayed that included things that are friendly to very small children. We will definitely stay here again!

Our family loved staying at this charming cottage on the river. The views are beautiful and very peaceful. Inside the cottage is everything you need for comfortable stay, the decor is tastefully and artfully done. Outside is equally enjoyable with fun and relaxation all around! Our family enjoyed the sunsets and the hammock. You truly feel on vacation here! So peacefuI, would recommend this location above staying in Norfolk or VA Beach to get the best of all worlds. Its an easy quick drive to Downtown Portsmouth and Norfolk. Virginia Beach was only 25-35 min using Midtown tunnel! We loved walking around the neighborhood everyone was so friendly. Portsmouth City park was easy for us to walk to and only a few minute drive by car. Truly one of our best airbnb experiences in the Hampton roads. We felt like we were able to take in not only the Elizabeth River views and tranquility, but also got to experience surrounding tidewater cities. Janine's cottage just shines!

This was such a beautiful house! The fenced yard was fabulous for my little dog. The bed was comfy. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. Well-stocked kitchen. Big fridge. Such a comfy couch to have a snack and watch a movie. I didn't use the piano room or the big three-season room, but they would be lovely for visitors in groups or with kids. The hosts had a great sense of humor when I thought I'd locked myself out (I didn't...I just had a temporary brain freeze, lol). Beautiful neighborhood. If I can get my kids to come visit, we'll definitely look into booking this house because it's got all the space and conveniences we would need. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I stay in the area a couple times a year for work and this is the best and nicest place I’ve stayed so far. The house was absolutely beautiful and I felt right at home. Very close to where I work and there are a lot restaurants and a grocery store only a 3 minute drive away. Adam was very quick to respond with any questions I had and was very nice. I will definitely be making it a point to stay here when I come back!

Bradley was very friendly, responsive, & helpful with our short notice booking. Love, love, love that they allow pets! Our little guys go everywhere with us and loved it here. Had the weather been a little warmer, definitely would have tried the pool. Location perfect for access to convention center & southern beach area. Walked the dogs around the area. Amenities great. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home and breathtaking views. As others mentioned it could use a few updates, but wasn't bad. Layout really nice for three separate families staying together.

Sabrina was a great host. The house was very welcoming and comfortable. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly need. We felt right at home. ❤️

Davina was very attentive and was always checking in to make sure things were going well. She quickly responded to messages and was very helpful.

Clean, roomy, location with a big comfortable bed. Convenient location (marred slightly by construction on the main road). Washer/dryer including laundry soap was a bonus. Everything seemed new as if recently renovated. A malfunctioning water heater on the first night was fixed by the next afternoon - the maintenance personnel showed up very shortly after Chandler called him the next morning, and then made himself available for followup service as needed. Responses to texting or through the app were somewhat delayed, but once the water heater was fixed everything went smoothly. Another bonus was the location of a couple nice restaurants in the center next door within easy walking distance - especially nice not having to get out at night when the primary construction was happening. Very nice place - would stay there again.

Dustin repeatedly said in the feedback comments "you should have messaged me" so when I couldn't find something I did. I'm glad I did! I couldn't find something and sure enough I just didn't look hard enough so I was very glad I messaged him. He got right back to me and all was good. Also, I think I read someone had trouble finding the entrance which is mind boggling - it was pretty easy to find and it wasn't like there were tons of options soooo.... Overall the apartment was really cute and had what I needed though I was just there for 2 days and didn't need much except a bed and a shower! It was bright, comfortable and omg the backyard was amazing. I was hesitant to book part of a home, but I think I was the only one there so it was a non-issue. Good chance I'll be back to Norfolk so highly likely I'll end up there again. Thanks, Dustin!!

Richard and Virginia’s Peacefull Cottage is great! It’s modern, roomy, comfortable and has all the amenities you could want. Plus, it’s really close to the beach, maybe 1 minute away. Also, there’s numerous restaurants and shopping close by. The neighborhood was super quiet during our stay as well. We loved that there was a nice fenced yard where our doggy could take care of her business. Additionally, Richard and Virginia were easy to work with and offered a partial refund because there was a wind restriction on the Chesapeake Bay bridge that kept us from arriving the first day. If you are looking to spend some time in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area, this place is a gem. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. We absolutely recommend staying at their cottage!

This home was exactly how advertised. Clean, easy to enter, and in the right location for our needs. The street can be a bit noisy but we didn’t notice that inside the home, only when out on the front decks. We had two issues that we needed to call the hosts for and both were handled quickly and in a friendly manner. Would definitely stay with them again.

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here at Sarah’s place. Her place made us feel right at home and we loved everything about it. We definitely want to come back and get this place again. She was very helpful and responded right away about a router my husband needed to work from home.

I absolutely recommend Steff's studio, it is charming! So many attractive decor touches and super well equipped, including a variety of chargers, cooking materials, extra towels, lots more. And Steff is the most responsive host we have ever experienced, have used Airbnb for years. Above and beyond describes both the apartment and her attention. We happened to arrive right after a crazy snow storm and unexpectedly the whole town was pretty much shut down our first night. Even grocery stores were closed. Thanks to frozen pizzas left for us we had a warm dinner that first night. Top of the line Airbnb experience.
