“A lovely cottage, ideal for anyone who wants a quiet weekend getaway. The rooms were bigger than we expected, the place was clean and had its own charm. The views outside were amazing and it was wonderful to sit outside in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee while looking at the fields and the nearby forests. Ruth and Alan were amazing hosts and made us feel welcome and very well looked after. I’d definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.”
The Red House Our two bed, contemporary, newly renovated 17th century townhouse sits in one of the most sought after cobbled streets, within the city walls in the heart of the city centre, metres away from cool coffee shops, restaurants, bars and the iconic racecourse.
“Our stay at the Townhouse was great! The townhouse is in an amazing location & the house is beautifully decorated! Andrew and Sarah responded to all my queries super quickly and were very accommodating! The additional touches were also really lovely🥂 I would definitely recommend & will hopefully be returning soon!”

“Only spent one night with Kat, Shaun & Milo the spaniel, but the welcome we received from them, especially from Milo, will be remembered for a long time. The room is spotless and welcoming, the addition of a kettle, tea, coffee etc. in the room was a very welcome surprise. Great assortment of books, DVDs etc available and the bed was soooo comfy!! Off road parking is a bonus and allows for a pleasant stroll along the canal and into the heart of Chester. This was our first stay using airbnb but it certainly won't be our last.”
