The Forest Pod is a unique and tranquil getaway located on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The perfect base to spot wildlife, sit back and relax or explore Macclesfield Forest on one of its many cycling or walking routes. The Pod is Adjacent to the Leathers Smithy Pub which serves some of the best Food and Ale in Cheshire,. It is situated in its own private area with an outside dining area which boasts magnificent views of the surrounding area Teggs Nose and Ridgegate Reservoir.

Shepherd's Crook

Shepherd's Crook is a delightful heated shepherd's hut in a private landscape, within it's own stone circle not overlooked most wonderful views over the Dane Valley. It has a large quality double bed, kitchen with a microwave, induction hob, fridge, Belfast sink, toaster, Foreman grill, and radio. Shower room with toilet and sink. . Towels provided. Outside a summerhouse with heater, chairs. a BBQ/fire pit and a large private grassed area. It is a short walk over the field to the local pub

Family owned one bedroom lodge in private grounds with mature woodland, in a superb location accessed by private electric gates, our lovely cabin has a large deck with a 4 person hot tub. Although in the grounds of Ladera Retreat Lodges we are otherwise unconnected with them and clean and manage the lodge ourselves, getting rave reviews pretty much 100% of the time. Ideal for romantic couples it's nestled in an area renowned for walking and cycling and is on the edge of the Peak District.

As winter approaches its great to know that our cozy canalside cabin is not only a one-of-a-kind, beautifully rustic cabin nestled between our paddocks & the picturesque canal that runs through our land, but also has thick (100mm) insulation all around, a purpose built wood burner which heats the space incredibly quickly & that your booking incl. logs/kindling. The Canalside Cabin is spacious & unique with quirky touches inside & out, plus access to our wonderful animals & play area.
