We were greeted by the Christmas tree and Christmas music when we opened the front door.And the fridge was stocked with lots of locally sourced pomegranate and oranges.This place showed the humanity of the host, which made for a truly wonderful stay. The room was spacious, beautiful, and very relaxing, and the kitchen facilities and balcony were great. And there are great tavernas like Dolphin and Sisaion nearby which made for a truly fulfilled Cretan stay. I'd love to come back to Crete again someday, and I'd love to stay with this owner again at that time.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Georgios and Maria’s stunning apartment in Agia Pelagia! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach. The apartment itself is beautifully designed, blending luxury with a boho-chic aesthetic that feels both inviting and serene.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation with fantastic hosts! The care and attention that has gone into making this home is obvious, and the view from the patio is gorgeous. The hosts welcomed us with more than we could have ever expected, genuine kindness, and great information about Crete. First class experience, and top-notch hosts. Recommended without any hesitation. Perfect.

Beautiful getaway! We loved this home. It is as described and more. The beach area is beautiful and full of restaurants bars and markets! Be mindful that during the winter a lot is closed (even if it says open on google maps). We didn’t mind at all since it just made for a more quiet and beautiful escape. We swam/snorkeled for hours, enjoyed the patio and sundeck upstairs. My favorite is that you can hear the waves crashing in bed. Would definitely stay again.

Top house - There is absolutely nothing to complain about the villa. We were there for a week as a group of 6 people and we didn't lack anything. The house is very nice, very clean, has a top location both to the sea and the supermarket and the village of Panormos. It is perfectly designed for 6 people, from the space of the rooms to the number of chairs and loungers to the large range of dishes and cooking utensils. The kitchen was large and superbly equipped for an AirBnB. (Oven, hob, microwave, sandwich maker, lots of knives / plates/pots/ pans/ cutlery, salt/ pepper/ other spices/ vinegar/ oil). In half of the week, there was even a cleaning crew and cleaned the house completely and gave us new towels & kitchen towels - and for free ! We can only recommend the house!

Truly amazing! What is most impressive about Aldea Villa is the beautiful and well thought out design and use of materials, textures and colour scheme which is not only pleasing to the eye, but also functional, very comfortable and well thought out. Her use of lighting inside and outside enhanced the beauty and atmosphere of the rooms, the terrace and garden making everywhere an inviting place to be or look at. For anyone who appreciates design, the villa is definitely a must. Violeta seems to have thought of everything when it comes to kitchen utensils & necessities for people like myself who enjoy cooking. In the bathroom there was soap powder, a hot iron, and sanitary pads etc. — small things which make a difference. As a digital nomad I can highly recommend the villa & WiFi as a workplace or a working holiday. Sunrises, sunsets, mountains & Adonis who brought me fresh oranges & his cheese topped it off! I'll be back! : )

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house. The outdoor area is just great, especially the pool was a highlight and just like in the pictures. Everything in the house was modern, clean and stylishly furnished – you can tell that there is a lot of attention to details here. The host Anastasia was incredibly friendly and helpful, always available and supported us with everything we needed. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and would love to come back anytime. Absolutely recommend!”

Beautiful villa - as described, but the star of the show is undoubtedly the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed the ultra modern design of the house, juxtaposed against a stunning vista of sea, mountains and olive trees, unchanged for generations. The family who owns the villa are charming. Kyriaki met us at the house, even though we arrived late. The family also owns a taverna in the village, serving great food, accompanied by a warm welcome. They also have a smallholding across from the house, with sheep and deer. The muffled sound of the sheep bells transports one back to a gentler time. The village of Marguerites, with its ceramic shops is a 10 minute walk (downhill) but a very steep walk back! Having been to Crete before, we didn't hire a car, opting to rest and soak up the atmosphere of the immediate locality. We booked a local taxi to take us into Perama to shop, as the village stores offer limited choice. We are grateful to Kyriaki and her family for a memorable holiday.
