Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Charlevoix

I stayed here with my two dogs for a week and a half or so --it was fantastic! The location is walkable to the beach, restaurants, walking paths, and shops. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. You really could not ask for more.

Absolutely amazing place! Everything was pristine! Comfortable, clean and spacious! The kitchen was amazing with everything you would need to cook. The hot tub was fantastic as well! The communication between the host and us was fast and friendly! It was my boyfriends birthday weekend and they hung a banner and gave us cupcakes! We will definitely be back! We did not want to leave! Thank you Spillway for an amazing weekend!

Stephanie was a thoughtful host, easy to communicate and quick to respond. The apartment was equipped with everything you'd need and was so warm and cozy from the comfortable beds to the 'Franklin stove' gas heater. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The street was quiet and the grounds were lovely. It turned out that we had a personal connection to Stephanie and her husband which made our stay all the more amiable. I highly recommend staying at "Down the way from Duncan Bay'!

Vicki’s place was perfect for our stay at Shanty Creek. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable! The surroundings were quiet and very peaceful. Vicki was able to respond to our questions quickly. We highly recommend staying at Vicki’s place!

Beautiful and spacious place. Immaculate- wonderful beds and location. Communication was excellent. We cooked almost every evening- the kitchen is very well stocked. Space allows for time as a family and alone time. We loved it!!!!

Fantastic spot in Northern, MI! Cozy, clean, well decorated. Lots of amentities. Great for a couples getaway or weekend away as a family.

What a beautiful facility, we truly enjoyed our stay at Spillway Lodges. The thoughtful and trendy design was welcoming and comfortable and the unit was well appointed. Location is very walkable to downtown Bellaire. Highly recommend staying at Spillway on your next trip to Bellaire!

The four of us had a wonderful stay at Laura’s condo. We enjoyed easy access to Cross Village, the Tunnel of Trees, Petoskey, and Harbor Springs. There are plenty of nearby options for outdoor adventures, or rainy day indoor fun. The condo resort has lovely walking trails, easy parking, and well-maintained clubhouse, pool/hot tub, and recreation/fitness facilities. Laura is an excellent host; she provided all the information we needed, and she responded very quickly when I sent a message. We would love to stay here again!

Very nice place, host communicated well, everything had specific instructions located next to it so there was no trouble figuring out how to use things. Was a little nervous having kids there with how nice it was decorated and all of the white furniture, but we had no issues. Very quiet, superbly comfortable beds, only road noise was the plow truck in the parking lot during and after the snow storm, but was appreciative that it was promptly cleared as our 2nd pickup doesn’t do so well in the deep snow

Jeffrey’s place was perfect for our quick weekend getaway. It was a perfect location for the ski hill and lodge. His place had everything we needed, and was very comfortable & clean. He was also a very responsive and helpful host. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Outstanding place! Many upgrades and a very comfortable place. We have stayed at a number of condos in this specific complex, and her's was one of the nicest we have been in. We will definitely be back!

I stayed for a professional conference held at the Grand Traverse Resort. This was a perfect alternative and less pricey! Just minutes from Meijer to get items for the kitchenette, a quick drive to all the local food, shops, casino, and happenings of the area. Perfect for what I needed and more! Will definitely stay again!

My friends and i stayed at their ski-in/ski-out rental at Boyne Mountain and it was the perfect cabin. We really appreciated the convenience of the ski-in/ski-out - being able to stop by for a quick cold cut for lunch and hop right back on the slope is truly unbeatable. And it is right off one of the easier slopes which was super appealing for me (a newbie). We really appreciated how the towels and other linens were provided, how there was enough coffee to brew a pot each day of the weekend, and how there were board games for us to bond over after skiing. So the accommodations were great, but so are the hosts. When we were checking in, the batteries of the keypad were going out and they came out the same day to replace them and make sure we were all squared away. ♥️ Overall my stay was lovely and I would totally recommend!!

Carrie's Place met all the needs of our family. They went to snowboard and were able to do lots of that despite the recent ice storm. They liked the spacious rooms, winding staircase to the loft, fireplace and being able to have their own bedroom. The 3 boys also enjoyed the waterpark at Boyne Mountain Resort. The grandparents hope to rent the same place in the summer for some northern Michigan golf and hiking.

This space was perfect for our week-long stay in Bellaire. It's the little details that make a big difference to me ... the thoughtful birthday note for our oldest, the coloring books left out for our youngest ... the coffee bar!! The condo had everything that we needed to make meals, do laundry throughout the week, and play games in the evening. It's also a very quiet area. One morning, we saw deer hanging out in the back! Chris is a friendly and responsive host. We would gladly return. Be sure to check out Short's Brewery, Mammoth Distillery, and The Iron Skillet right there in Bellaire!

We would highly recommend this beautiful condo. Every detail was wonderfully done. You felt at home as soon as you walked in. Yvonne was so great at responding so quickly to any questions we asked. This is definitely a place to return and to recommend to others. They are so accomodating.

We enjoyed a great stay at Taylor’s house. It was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. All beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We walked to the beach almost every day and hung out on the deck in the evenings. We appreciated the gating that was available for the deck to keep it safe for our 3 toddlers, and everyone enjoyed making s’mores around the fire ring. We found everything we needed in Sutton’s Bay and Traverse City, including an excellent Children’s Museum that came in handy one rainy day. All 9 of us agreed that Taylor’s would be a great place to come back to again!

This was the most well appointed rental we have stayed at. From detergent and extra paper towels and toilet paper to a fully loaded kitchen with coffee, a popcorn maker (and popcorn), aluminum foil and containers for leftovers -this place had it all. We thoroughly enjoyed reading on the front porch while listening to the sound of the water and had our own ping pong tournament while watching the Olympics. This was truly a home away from home. Elizabeth also provided some great recommendations for places to eat that we thoroughly enjoyed. We’d love to come back again!

Very spacious house, plenty of room for 3 families (12 people). The house was very well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of activities to do in the basement also and kept the kids plenty busy! Crystal was very responsive!

Chelsea was an excellent host. The house was perfect for our group. She always responded promptly and was extremely helpful. The house is located conveniently from downtown Bellaire and was very comfortable to live in. highly recommend this serene woodland getaway.

We had a great time up north. Craig’s place was centrally located to all the places we wanted to see. It was clean, quiet and very peaceful. Would stay there again.

The place was great for our family getaway. It was clean and cozy, plenty of towels and blankets to make you feel at home. The kitchen had all of the essentials and some additional items as well. The smart TVs made it easy to watch our favorites during our down time, but our favorite features were the air hockey table and the hot tub! The hosts were great communicators, quick responses and helpful with our requests too. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Gaylord.

Beautiful home right on the beach. We had a great time celebrating my wifes 40th birthday with a couple of friends. The house was cozy and beds were comfortable. Our favorite part was the indoor fireplace. It added such a warm and cheery ambiance. Communication was great and check in was easy. Not a lot of shops were open during our stay but that didnt stop us from having a great time and feeling like we had the whole town to ourselves. We would love to come back to enjoy the warmer months sometime in the future! Thank you for being a great host!
