Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Charleville-Mézières

The accommodation was fantastic. Reception and communication with Pascal and his partner very good. Everything was very complete and clean. The house is beautifully situated on the Meuse, very quiet overlooking all kinds of birds such as swans, egrets, cormorants and Canadian geese. There are bicycles available and it is easy to cycle along the Maas to both the village of Revin and Montherme, both very likeable. At Montherme is also the special Roc La Tour, where we were able to walk beautifully. The most beautiful walk just starts at the house, namely Les Creces de Laifour, along Dames de Meuse and La Source Ferugineuse (with beautiful matching fables) and over the ridge behind the house back to the Meuse. Only downside was that the restaurant Tschar Scaille was full, but that's a nice excuse to come back again.

We had a great weekend at Juliette's lovely home. Everything is done to make you feel "at home", many little extras are graciously provided such as logs of wood to make a fire, coffee, sugar, there are toys and books for children, deckchairs, etc... the setting is quiet and rural, the garden and terrace are great, this old house with its beautiful history has been tastefully renovated. Communication with Juliette went very well, this host is very nice and available, as are the caretakers of the house who live in the village. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Impeccable accommodation and the hosts are very nice and friendly. They didn't hesitate to help us with food when we didn't anticipate a holiday. Thank you for your generosity... Bright and spacious accommodation with free parking and garden accessible from the kitchen. Martine is a thoughtful, welcoming hostess and has good tips about her beautiful region. I recommend her place.

Catherine was very communicative with prompt and helpful responses. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was done with ease and we were not disturbed. The rooms were as advertised and the ease of instructions with videos was welcomed. When asked of what there was to do and see, Catherine provided great recommendations to which we took which made our holiday. An excellent and very valued host, thank you Caterine.

We had a pleasant week-long stay at Patrick's place and will gladly come back! We didn't lack anything, comfortable and clean bedding, the amenities and equipment met our needs. The children very much appreciated the garden and outdoor games as well as the kind attention of Patrick and his wife. We took full advantage of the green setting of the region, many possibilities for bike loops on the greenway in Charleville Mézières and the surrounding area.

Great hospitality from Christian with explanations on the hikes to do during our stay. Host always very nice with delicate attentions towards his guests. I highly recommend the accommodation that offers all the amenities needed for a change of scenery for the weekend or for weeks.

I've been to this apartment before and the location is great, the cozy apartment is clean, it's on a street that doesn't have cars, lots of bars around, on Friday there's a show in a bar in front. I loved it 😍 Great place to enjoy the summer holidays

Great communication with host and very responsive. great to be shown around the property by hosts mam. property was spotless and extremely quiet, in a nice neighbourhood. private and secure parking was a big bonus. 10 mins walking to Place Ducale with all it's restaurants and bars. would highly recommend staying at this property

Very nice apartment in the heart of Charleville Mézières. Peaceful and very beautiful light, a perfect place for a quiet stay. The apartment is 2 minutes from Place Ducale, with all its bars, restaurants, museums etc.

Had a nice stay (2 nights) in this beautiful duplex apartment. I also appreciated the fact that there is private parking. It's great, so you don't have to ask questions to know where to park. Communication with the hosts was pleasant and thank you for the natural fruit juice from the Ardennes 😊 The location is very good, close to the city center on foot, the Ducal Square. The only thing for me, who is a little sensitive to noise, is that the bedroom overlooks Forest Street, which is quite busy with cars (less so in the middle of the night anyway). It takes some time to get used to, but it was still.

We recommend this place in a very good location and very quiet. Everything is spotless and matches the photos perfectly. Our host is very responsive and friendly. The sheets as well as the whole apartment were fresh and clean. Virginie even left us some snacks as well as local apple juice, a treat! It is a short walk from shops and the main square. The Refuge is aptly named. I spent a month there and spent most of my time there. I was able to take the time I needed for myself and recharge my batteries. Thanks to the hosts for their availability and communication. Thanks again! I didn't miss a thing and loved the place.

We were well received by celine ,the apartments seem even more fun in real life than in the photos. Sedan is also a lovely little historic town .

A wonderful setting for an exotic weekend, a very warm welcome,... everything was there to have a pleasant time. Nadège did a lot to make us feel at ease and make the most of our stay. No complaints, perfect for Easter weekend. Special mention for the first barbecue of the season with great tips for lighting!
