House vacation rentals in Charlbury

What a fabulous place to celebrate my wife’s birthday with 3 other couples. So much room, spacious kitchen and drawing room, conservatory and two more rooms we didn’t even use! Added bonus was a lovely pool and hot tub overlooking g beautiful rolling hills.

We have just got back from a great stay at the property! We booked for a much needed family (dog included) getaway, and were sold on the beautiful location and hot tub! Rob was very communicative throughout and all possible information was provided ( highly recommended watching the video directing you to the allocated parking, especially if arriving at night) As we were staying out of peak season, the estate was extremely quiet, and when using the pools and spa, we had them almost to ourselves! The location of the property allowed for easy access to some early morning dog walks around the lakes. Some board games were also provided for some added evening entertainment. Overall, we all had a lovely time and would definitely return and recommend to all

We had a really relaxing 4 night stay in the beautiful Lower Mill Estate. The house was impressive and very spacious, with everything you would need. We loved the hot tub and taking walks around the lakes. We didn't go to the spa/indoor pool, but the kids enjoyed the outdoor pool (30 degrees) which was almost empty due to it being October.

We loved our stay at Lucy's place, it was beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The grounds that the Coach House are in are just gorgeous and Lucy was kind enough to show us around. We'd love to come back in warmer months to enjoy them more and use the tennis court and swimming pool. We really enjoyed that The Fleece Inn pub was such a short walk through the grounds. The perfect comfortable base for exploring the Cotswolds!

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

We had a wonderful family weekend away at Cotswold's House. It was very clean, cosy, had everything we needed, and we felt at home straight away. The basket of goodies and supplies, as well as the chilled fizz, were all very much appreciated! Thank you Ian, we did enjoy staying in your home.

We had a fantastic weekend stay, the coach house is immaculate and very comfortable, we all slept really well. Nice to have lovely toiletries and luxury bed linen :) We would stay again as it was a gorgeous little place, the surrounding area (not the property grounds - they were gorgeous) leaves a bit to be desired but for a weekend it’s not long enough to bother us that much. Bit of noise from the motorway but can’t hear a thing from the Coachouse. Plus very helpful hosts with great recommendations of nearby pubs and walks. We had dinner at the nearby YewTree pub which was good- great service and all home cooked. The local kemperton coffee house was great, great menu for a brekkie/lunch. We would all come back and stay again as the property was great

Lovely home in a nice location with everything you need for that special multi-family get together on the lakes. The local restaurant was very good, they really looked after us for my mothers birthday. The outdoor pool and the tennis court were all well maintained. Host Sandra provided us with an excellent welcome pack and was always on hand when called upon. Would like to return in the summer for water-sports and biking all available on site.

The Bowler Hat Cottage is perfectly located near the centre of Woodstock. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and really felt like a home from home. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore Woodstock and visit Blenheim. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We stayed at Nicky’s cottage for 2 nights, The house is very clean, communication very smooth. Nicky is a great host. The kids loved the animals … Thank you for having us

Mike and Jill were very helpful and proactively asked us question about what we need for a baby. The high chair and cot were set and ready to go which was amazing. The home was very nice, we felt at ease immediately.

Just had a lovely 2 night stay at Stone Cottage - the cottage is in a great location we didn’t use our car and walked everywhere. We visited The Boathouse next door which had a fabulous atmosphere and great g&ts. The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay a comfortable one, the log burner was great and easy to use making the living room very toasty.

Absolutely stunning quaint cottage surrounded by breath taking views. Badgers Bothy is the perfect name for this place, if you're looking for a hidden gem- look no further! We will definitely be back to visit this perfect spot and as for Joe, well he is an exceptional individual who oozes positivity, warmth and such pride in this beautiful location.

Lovely cosy stay. Very picturesque and private with beautiful scenery. Lovely and clean. Visited the Woolpack which was a lovely dog friendly pub with a lovely atmosphere. Definitely be visiting again. Thank you Sophie.

This is our third stay at Caroline’s place and we love it. It’s super well equipped and Caroline adds some lovely treats along with very practical things so you can arrive and relax. There’s everything you need for a very comfortable and cosy stay 👍

A very warm welcome from Lindsey. The accommodation was spacious, warm & immaculately clean. Everything had been thought off. We would highly recommend especially in this idyllic village location.

A wonderful little cottage that was perfect for visiting Blenheim Palace and Oxford. The cottage is small but perfect for two people, lots of nice extra touches like some beautiful bread and marmalade. Some really soft bath robes, a pot with spare toiletries in case you had forgotten anything. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook if you didn’t fancy going out. And the log fire was just perfect for that romantic Christmas feeling.

The cottage is cosy and very beautiful inside, with wood floors, stone walls, beams and impeccable, simple quality and taste in everything. Kieran was a wonderful host, very responsive and exceptionally helpful when I needed to change my arrangements. (It's well worth opting for the additional space which has a large dining table and doors into the garden.) The village is quiet, not touristy, but with plenty of options of pubs, restaurants and lovely walks. Overall a perfect stay.

The cosy corner cottage was kitted out with everything we needed. There were lots of little thoughtful and generous touches that made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfortable with feather pillows and good quality bed linen. It was very peaceful and we slept well. Good supply of logs and kindling for our weekend stay. We met Carla at the end of our stay and she clearly cares that her guests have everything they need and are happy.

Lovely quiet location, beautiful cottage that was extremely clean and well equipped. Beautifully decorated. Lilli and Tom extremely helpful and great communication. Great location for exploring area.

Where to start? Everything about Emma's little cottage is perfect. Located down a quiet but accessible road close to many amenities, we were right at home from the moment we arrived. Check in was clear and easy. The Cottage itself is beautiful inside and out, the lounge with the log burner was very cosy, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, the bedroom was comfy, warm and spacious, and the bathroom was immaculate with a great shower. The Garden is stunning, secure and private and the views are something else. We had resident pheasants arrive most mornings and our little dog could run around and enjoy herself without risk of escape. We struck gold finding Emma's cottage and I envy anyone who is yet to enjoy a stay. It's clearly loved and looked after, and it looked after us while we loved it. It smply made our long weekend in The Cotswolds that extra bit more perfect

The property matched the description exactly. Well equipped and very comfortable. Really peaceful with lovely views over the orchard. Anne communicated before and during our stay and is a great host. Fabulous spot for Blenheim Palace and Woodstock up the road. Would love to return. Thanks Anne

We had a wonderful and easy stay at Vine Cottage, bolt hole retreats were very responsive, as was Julie who looked after us and was very accommodative for us as we had a 6mo baby. The place was very peaceful and everything we’d hoped for in the cottage. Would recommend to others.
