“If you are looking for a spot in Mexico where you can be one with your hammock this is the place. The location of the cabana is literally right on Mermejita beach. This beach is the least developed of any of the beaches in this area, and the one with the most outstanding sunsets. We stayed for a week and after exploring Mazunte, San Augustinillo and Zipolite settled in and chilled at the best spot we found ... on our own large and comfortable cabana deck! Be aware that there is really no cooking facilities so you are limited to a cold breakfast with your coffee. However the restaurant at the El Corpal hotel was very good with a very cool evening vibe. As well, this area is not for you if you have mobility issuses ... the walk into Mazunte is 10 to 15 minutes over a steep hill and to get to the El Corpal restaurant also has long steep narrow stairs. If you want a cab you would need to call for one as Mermejita only has one very bumpy dirt access road. Alain and Adrian were outstanding hosts and made sure all our needs were taken care of. We will be back!”

“Jose Luis is the best host ever. I live nomadically and travel all year long staying in Airbnbs. This is my favorite Airbnb ever. From Jose Luis being a great host, so the cute bungalow with everything I need, to it being a 3 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches and only public nude beach in Mexico. I was basically nude all the time. In my home, on the porch, and on the beach. There is hot water in the shower, but I never used it. It is hot in Zipolite all year long. I enjoy taking cold showers to cool off. The place is perfect for one person or a couple. The kitchen and bathroom are all in the same room basically with saloon doors to separate the bathroom. The bed is a comfortable pillow top king. There is a beautiful natural wood desk to work from. And a small closet with safe to store your stuff. You can not go wrong here. Except the internet is very slow. I was here during the pandemic. I was in Zipolite for 4 months and everywhere you went, the internet was terribly slow. If you want a place to come where you can work abroad this is not it. If you want a place to come and unplug from the world, this is paradise.”

“Casa Aditi is a great place to stay while visiting Mazunte. It's a cabana with modern amenities that is literally located in the middle of the jungle, just a short hike from the beach. The unit looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The space was well maintained, and Aditi's staff stopped for maintenance in the middle of my stay and did a stellar job. While the cabana is close to center of town, it's definitely a bit of hike. You either have to take a network of steep staircases or hike up a dirt road that has considerable incline in spots. I didn't mind this at all, but it may present an issue to someone lacking mobility. Granted, you can also drive (or take a cab) up the dirt road, but if you're on foot and plan being in the town fairly late (and drinking, etc.), this is a good thing to know about in advance. I walked home after the bars closed most of the nights that I stayed there. It was dark, but it's a safe area. Just make sure your cell phone has some juice left, as you'll need a flash light. All in all, this place was a winner and I'd be happy to stay here again.”
