Riverside Bunkhouse - Llandysul

LilyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Gareth's place was exactly what we wanted. Our stay on New Years Eve was great. His home had definitely enough room for our whole large group, with a good downstairs seating area that even had a very large TV we could all play games on and watch tv and the whole place would heat up very warm too. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates and glasses etc. Furthermore, Pontwelly was lovely and the local were all nice and welcoming. There were also quite a few good pubs in the town and a supermarket a 2 minute walking distance away. The pictures do not do the location justice, as out the back of the hostel is a beautiful river with a short walk along it too. Highly recommend.
A charming farmhouse is displayed, fronted by a spacious conservatory with large glass windows, inviting natural light. The exterior features a light-colored façade with a blue door. Lush greenery surrounds the property, complementing the rural setting under a clear blue sky.

A beaver is seen foraging in a serene pond, surrounded by lush greenery. Its fur appears slick and rich brown, while the water reflects the nearby foliage, creating a vivid natural backdrop. The beaver is in mid-action, holding a small branch with its paws.

Rustic Stone Cottage with Cosy Wood Burning Stove

DanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sharon and Stee were both fantastic hosts. We brought our (well behaved) cat with us and this was accommodated beautifully. The place is absolutely peaceful. The lodging was just what was needed to disconnect and recuperate. Sharon is passionate about the permaculture and knowledgable about the area. The beavers are something else and the chickens and geese made very amicable hosts as well! Altogether the place is fantastic and I’ll definitely be returning in the future.

Two young beavers are seen alongside an adult beaver in a lush green setting. The adult, with a thick, brown fur coat, stands watchfully while the youngsters exhibit curiosity, their smaller, softer bodies contrasting with their guardian's robust presence.

'The Haven' An Exquisite 16th Century Stone Home

PaulRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sharon was tremendously accommodating, even though we had to arrive late because one of us was injured a few days before we arrived. Sharon was sympathetic, flexible, checked in on our friend and made sure it was a welcoming and healing environment for her to relax in and a wonderful experience for all three of us. The cottage was incredible, clean, and a complete delight with stunning views of the grounds. Everything was thought of here, with a separate common conservatory to relax in, well-appointed private kitchen, and a communal fire pit. There is something for everyone here. Seeing the beavers and walking the grounds, paddling in the pond, getting a tour of Sharon's permaculture endeavours, taking a dip in the plunge pool, and the stunning views of the natural surroundings were some of the many highlights of our stay. We had such a warm welcome. We are sad to leave, but can't wait to return! by Jackie

Riverside cottage w/hot tub and wildlife views

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had such a lovely break. The cottage was cosy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip as a family. The views of the river were absolutely stunning, and the hot tub made it even better. I spent a lot of time in there soaking up the scenery — it was peaceful, calming, and just what I needed. Our host was fantastic — friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. We felt very well looked after. A truly memorable stay and one we’ll definitely return to. Highly recommend!

Heritage stone cottage w/private Hot Tub

CarmineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The cottage was fab clean and comfortable, we ordered a tesco home delivery to the property that went without a hitch. The garden was well enclosed for the dogs. It was a great place to relax, the hot tub helped this enormously! Nici was very quick to respond to any questions and Kieth the maintenance was really friendly and helpful. Its a great place as a base or just for chilling out. If you have older kids you may want to take a firestick to maybe plug into the tv for extra entertainment, as the broadband was good. Great stay we enjoyed tremendously and the Pembrokeshire weather was just perfect we were really lucky. Would recommend, a stay here!
