Wildernest - Ty Twt

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
If you want to get away from it all you'd be hard pushed to find a better place to go to. We loved it! Hugh and Jude have created a wonderful haven of tranquillity. Ty Twt was a perfect base for us to walk a stretch of the coastal path and visit a National Trust property. It was cosy and had all the things we needed to make our trip very comfortable.

Pembrokeshire Coast Workhouse @AlbroCastle

OwenRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Pete and Tracy are fantastic hosts of a unique stay. The history behind the place is fascinating, and is still there to be seen. From wallpaper to rock-sorting plates from workhouse to guesthouse, it's all still there for you to see and feel. We enjoyed brilliant weather, so made the most of local walks, beaches and some outside dining at great local restaurants. I'm sure we'll be back. 10/10

Aberdar Country Cottage and Cinema Cabin

MarianaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic week at Aberdar. The weather was amazing all week, so we spent our time outside enjoying the garden, orchard and stream, and sitting at the various seating areas to avoid the wind if it got too strong. We only made 3 trips away from Aberdar.. a stunning part of Wales and it was hard to put the camera down. A pleasure to drive on the pothole free roads and we hardly saw anyone apart from friendly farmers. Our anxious rescue dog was very happy enjoying the space and he was relaxed all week, as were we. Aberdar has it all.. very clean and homely, very well equipped with everything we needed, useful information file provided for guests, beautiful views and loved hearing the sheep, cows and stream. If you are tall, remember to duck when going through the doorways.. we kept forgetting! This was a very special trip for us and we will be returning!

The property was a beautiful peaceful location. Being a converted barn everything was on one level. Very contemporary and tastefully decorated throughout. Every eventuality has been catered for whether a short or long stay. Looking forward to returning when next in the area. Totally recommended.

Award- winning hideaway in the hills

TimRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Staying at Cae’r Beili in April was magical. Meryl was friendly and warm as she introduced us to the beautiful converted barn. The air was full of the sounds of sheep and their lambs with easy viewing from the lovely glass-enclosed sunroom. Looking out across the Carmarthenshire hills is a soothing experience and we enjoyed a long walk through the fields to the waterfall and back. The accommodations worked very well for our family (two children and four adults, one with limited mobility). If you want to experience the heart of rural Wales I highly recommend coming to Cae'r Beili - you may experience a little "hiraeth" after you return home.

The Hayloft

ThomasRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a lovely stay for 9 days at this beautiful house. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. It’s a charming two-story home with two full bathrooms, two bedrooms, and a sofa bed. The house was cozy and well-equipped for our needs. The farm was a highlight for our kids, who loved feeding the cows and interacting with the animals. The owners, who live in the main house and run the family farm, were incredibly welcoming, especially toward our children. They made our experience even more special. The location is perfect for exploring Wales. There are many picturesque towns and small cities nearby, and it’s an ideal base to discover the region’s stunning beaches and attractions. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this lovely house.

The Piggery, large garden - dog friendly

IonutRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing time at the cottage and will definitely be coming back again. Our son and our dog loved the enclosed garden and we were so relaxed knowing they were safe there. The place was spotless and so quiet you could hear the birds at any time of day. Nicola and Paul were extremely friendly and were always available in case we needed their help. We really felt like home and wished we could stay for longer.

The Barn

VictoriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We very much enjoyed our stay at the barn. The daily allocation of a one hour booking in the private pool is lovely. The barn was beautifully clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. A lovely selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolates along with some Welsh cakes and Kit Kats were left for us on arrival, which was a lovely. The location is ideal for exploring west Wales. We did feel all the properties they rent out are all very close together. Much closer than we had anticipated from the pictures. One thing that we felt was a negative was that the hot tub at the front of the property was very much visible from the walkway where everybody walks around. There was no privacy when using the hot tub, I feel it could definitely be given a little more privacy, it was fine for the kids but I’m a little more reserved when in a swimming costume so it put me off using it. Overall though it’s a lovely place, lovely friendly hosts, we would return and recommend it.

A huge thank you to Carolyn and Rhys for letting us stay in their incredible cottage. Carolyn was an amazing host who is very knowledgeable about the local area and was extremely warm and welcoming. Whenever there was an question Carolyn was quick to respond and even offered to cook us breakfast when the gas needed replacing. We stayed at this place for our honeymoon and Carolyn and Rhys made us feel very special by offering us a few little presents. Diolch yn fawr! The cottage was amazing. very peaceful and the hot tub was lovely. Incredible location for nature lovers as we saw red kites daily fly overhead. We were very happy with this stay, and will definitely look to book again in the future!
