Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Central Louisiana

Our stay at Jeremy ‘s place was perfect for the group of guys I was traveling with. It’s a quiet secluded place on the Calcasieu river. It was the perfect location for a bunch of sportsmen who were in Louisiana for fishing and teal hunting. Jeremy was an awesome host, it was great to have him up there from time to time just to hang out. I will be coming back!

A great place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of East Texas. The cabin is very pretty and clean. The accommodations are more than expected, including a well stocked kitchen and fun games outside. Lake activities are an option as well. Our girls” trip was a happy one, and we will come back again for a fun, quiet get away among the piney woods on Toledo Bend.

Some friends and I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. Everything was wonderful, the house was just as pictured. Saturday night we sat on the front porch for hours!!

Pulling into the property, I thought the property was beautiful. But, when I opened the door, I was awe struck. I was automatically in love with everything about it and wanted to live there forever. The floor plan, the decorations, the ease of getting around in the house, the peaceful back porch, everything about it was way above my expectations, which were already high. Thank you Patrick for sharing such a homey, wonderful stay.

The home was beautiful and comfortable, well equipped. Fresh baked cookies were brought and friendly family member greeted us. The river view was not the best but nice, quiet and peaceful.

I love peace and quiet and this was a perfect place for it. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the space was bigger than expected. Easy to find, easy to check in, and Alicia was great.

I’ve stayed here more than once. Acton’s Secret Jewel is always clean and organized. I’ve definitely found my home away from home. I appreciate the attention to details though-out your home. Thanks again for another awesome stay.

Wonderful place for family and friends to stay with a pretty view. So much room for everyone to spread out, updated, and had everything we needed.

Suzy's place was even better than described. The photos don't do it justice, great amenities, well stocked. They really thought of everything and more. Beautiful, peaceful location with a great spot on the front porch for morning coffee.

Lovely place to stay. Fishermen, you get entire drive way to yourself. Clean and good water pressure for the shower. Was just a little confusing on where the unit was when showing up. I've seen other owners use a little directional sign to their units.

This place is beautiful! Clean, walkable to amenities and the surrounding houses were beautiful. Peaceful and very comfortable. Would definitely go again and again. Finn the shepherd is a handsome boy! Perfect little hidden place. Walked to the river.

Very serene surroundings and we loved exploring the creek. Outdoor firepit area was really nice in the evenings with the lights and had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer! Bring a kitchen sponge because we went to two different stores and they didn’t stock them.

Peggy and Josh’s private secluded getaway was what me and my boyfriend needed after recently planned and married my oldest daughter. This cabin was everything we imagined and more. So peaceful and cozy. Perfect weather for walking the trails and wooded areas. We will definitely be back soon. Peggy and Josh were very easy to communicate with and left special personal touches to the cabin upon our arrival.

We had pups & so did Ruby ( we’re puppy lovers) we meet Maverick with our dog Captain but Captain was on a leash . They didn’t play well & 110% if we didn’t have Captain on the leash they would had been friendly. Truly believe both pups don’t meet a stranger & our sweet sweet. But reason for the note Ruby had Maverick inside rest of our stay & was very much appreciated . Had a Great stay & very comfortable. Thxs, Ruby

The place was amazing! Peaceful, quiet, and but still close to everything in town. Will definitely stay again. The pond with ducks & geese, and free range chickens was fun to watch. Felt completely safe taking the top & doors off our Jeep and leaving it open for the night. Great area! Amanda was super awesome, she was quick and eager to help with any issue we had.

Peaceful getaway in a comfortable, well-decorated space. The cabin has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. This was our 2nd visit and we hope to come again in a few months!

beautiful lot and surroundings, house had everything needed, yard was multi level entertainment- house level (house and back porch hot tub), outside kitchen and fire pit at mid level(down some steps), lake dock at lower level. we had a great time and would easily go back!

We have stayed in 3 of the 4 cabins and just love them. So clean and well equipped! The location is amazing! Some of the best sunsets you can experience!
