Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Central Louisiana

We had a lovely stay. Lorraine greeted us outside, provided us a safe place to store our bikes and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed our chit chat with her in morning after a beautiful breakfast.

We came down for a mini reunion and the house was great. Plenty of room and cozy like it was your own. Pool was lovely as well.

Lovely home and very comfortable accommodations... best bed I've slept in for a long time. Lorraine is friendly and her breakfast was excellent! The rooms were a little warm and stuffy, but slept okay with just a sheet. Overall, a great place to stay.

This was our second stay as we loved it enough to go back. We didn't arrive til after 7:00 pm and David had the lights on and the fireplace going which was really great. We love the bed linens and the cozy throw on the sofa. The place is so cute esp with Christmas decor up. The backyard lights around and on the stairs up to the second floors add such a romantic flare. Thank you both for your attention to comfort and cleanliness. We definitely will be back.

This place is a gem! If you love the movie, you’ll be in awe of feeling at home and in the middle of it all. It’s like you are family. If you don’t know the movie, you’ll love the charm and sophistication of the place. Everything was easy. Booking, checking-in, lounging in the room, breakfast, check-out. The property is gorgeous.

We have been staying with the Burn House years now. They have literally watched our son grow up. The staff is so friendly and responsive. The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast is always amazing. We consider all of them family and look forward to each return.

Definitely was worth every penny! We checked in later than stated on the check in and they were friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast was delicious and they had a pianist playing while you enjoyed your meal. The room was very quiet and had no outside noise that disturbed us. They included a tour of the beautiful 1835 built mansion. Would visit again! 10/10!

Thus place is second to none in my opinion. staff was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. breakfast each morning was made to order and served with heartwarming smiles

The view is just amazing ! Lovely place, peaceful and comfortable. The swimming pool is great ! It was a perfect experience for my husband and me ! Thanks a lot !

Our stay at the Guest House/Newman Room was brief, but wonderful. The room itself was spacious and full of beautiful accents. Denise was very courteous at check in and explained the check in and check out processes. Her team got us extra pillows when asked and even prepared a to go breakfast for our early departure. We would definitely stay here again.

This stay started out bumpy. We arrived to an unexpected locked door. Once inside we were informed that our reservation could not be found and that the room we reserved already had a guest in it. The host was able to put us in a different room but we ended up paying more for the room than what was quoted by the receptionist. We were happy with the room because it was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was small but nice. Despite experience, would recommend but suggest going directly through place rather than Airbnb.

Can’t say enough good things about this place, the owners, Ms. Sandra and the beautiful house. Give it a try, awesome place!

Perfect place just 20minutes from town. Came in for Christmas lights and a birthday party.
