My stay at Bret’s place in Surfside Beach was absolutely fantastic! The house was spotless, and exactly as described. I really enjoyed the outdoor spaces including the hot tub area and balconies for added relaxation! The location was perfect for exploring Surfside Beach and nearby local restaurants and a very short drive to Lake Jackson. Bret was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful, making my trip truly enjoyable! I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time and loved Tiffany’s place! Updated and super cute home, with great amenities and a great location! Host was so friendly and helpful. We loved that we could bring our dogs. And we’re all very comfortable on our stay.

Thank you Sara for a great stay over our Christmas holiday. We weren't expecting you to have a Christmas tree set up for us. So nice! Really made our Christmas get-away perfect (thanks for the candy too ;-). Love our stay on the quiet peninsula. K

I brought Mom and Dad out for a quick staycation. We all enjoyed how well the house was decorated. The board games provided were fun and when we wanted some down time, we could enjoy the sounds of the ocean just a few feet away. The fact this house is directly next to Blue Water Highway did not matter when we were enjoying the sounds of nature. The fenced in yard was a welcome treat for my working dog and the fire pit as well as outdoor games were a treat.

It was our first time in Surfside beach and had a lovely time. I loved the location, really has a beautiful view and it's beachfront so we could walk up and down the beach. We did a family vacation including my 5 and 2 year old and my sisters baby. Lots of space for everyone. Beautifully decorated. We would book again!

We had a wonderful stay at Maria's place. It was steps away from the beach and you can see the water from the balconies. The house was spacious, had plenty of beds, and came with a lot of amenities in the kitchen. Maria was also very responsive and allowed us to check in early which I really appreciated! We would definitely come back!

Unplugged at Beachfront

Unplugged was everything I hoped for. Peaceful, quiet, great views of/easy access to water. The hosts are so thoughtful having things available to do indoors ie: movies, puzzles and mindful coloring books and the best equipped kitchen that included a sharp chefs knife which I really appreciated! If I return to Matagorda I will definitely be staying here again -but longer! 😊

I loved Gina's place right on the beach, it was exactly what I needed to escape the real world even if it was just for one night! the location is probably what made it, beach front with an amazing view of the sunrise. The decor and vibe inside was all beach life and you can tell when the host intentionally picks pieces to match the beach theme. I loved the renovated bathrooms, very chic and the rain shower heads were really great to use. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook and grill. I highly recommend Gina's place and would definitely book again. Gina and Alan were both great at communicating instructions and any info we needed about the place. We were even considering extending our stay but had to get back. I really hope we can get back out there before it gets too busy!

Mike was great with providing information for our check in and the amenities with the house. The house is fully automated with Alexa which made everything easy. The location was great! The view of the ocean from the tiki patio and from the upstairs bedroom were amazing. Beach access was easy. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay with plenty of amenities and fabulous views, you won’t be disappointed.

A wooden dock extends into the calm waters of the canal, flanked by grassy areas. Soft clouds drift across a blue sky, adding to the serene waterfront setting. The dock features posts for tying boats, enhancing the fishing and boating opportunities.

This is our second time staying at the house and it was just as amazing at two years ago. I loved watching the sunrise on the front deck with coffee (they have normal coffee pot and Kurig). The beds were comfortable. The house was very clean. Carla was helpful and responsive with questions. We also loved the sunsets from the back deck. There were tons of mosquitos, so be prepared with OFF!!

My family and I loved the house and the location. We had an amazing stay. The house was very nice, the beds and accommodations were very comfortable. This property was the perfect place for us to stay with a large family , kitchen stocks with almost everything you need , It was clean and more spacious than the pictures.Angie, the host is helpful with very clear instruction to the house. Absolutely coming back .

We had a great stay at Casa Surfside. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Quality appliances and kitchenware that made cooking easy. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Comfy furniture. Loved all the beach gear and toys for the kids! The location was excellent. Definitely recommend staying here!
