We had an amazing stay, the grounds are extraordinary!! Hot tub was great and completely private, lovely walks through the forest behind. Beautiful at night time there are little lights all round the trees. We will definitely book again it had everything we needed.

This is our family’s second stay at Straidkilly Lookout. Last year was during my birthday celebration. This year is my husband’s. I guess it’s gonna be a yearly affair! The view is to die for. The hot tub is fantastic - both day and nightime. Franceska is a super host — very prompt at answering our requests, queries and what-have-yous. Her Dad is so prompt at sorting out the wifi issue and even changed the water of the hot tub on our 2nd night. I have recommended this place to my friends. And they have already booked the place this coming July! We will come back next year!

Absolutely beautiful property. It was very peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable. There was a convenience store and a chip shop just across the road so dinner and groceries were super easy to grab. Had an convenient place in the back to park. Sam the host was also super helpful, the wifi was having an issue during our stay and he came over and helped fix it. He was very responsive, friendly, and accomodating. We would happily stay again and reccomended others to stay there!

Maddy was so welcoming and lovely! She made sure I knew where everything was, how things worked and that I had everything I needed. The chalet was immaculately kept and very comfortable. Beautiful location not too far out of town with amazing views and so quiet and peaceful. Throughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend, the place is perfect!

We had a fab few days at Doireann and Phillips place! Lots of space, everything we needed, great to have 2 en suite bedrooms. The view is incredible, sitting in the garden watching the sunset was amazing! Hosts were really friendly and helpful. The info sent on booking was brilliant. Thank you! We would love to return and highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟

We had a lovely peaceful stay, we didn’t avail of the early check-in but that was a bonus to start with. We arrived at the most beautiful location with a stunning view out of the front window and from the hot tub. The space inside the cabin is well thought out, great setup for a couple looking a break away from reality. It was just what we needed, we had a few visits from the cutest little guy Trigger and we saw Ollie floating about the place, they made us feel more at home, both very cute pups. We did avail of the late checkout as you can stay on until 12 noon. We had access to netflix and sky tv and there are a few pubs and takeaways & grocery shops in Portglenone so you don't need to go too far for necessities. We definitely recommend.

OMGoodnes, where does one start. there is not enough words to describe this place. Wow, If you are wanting a peaceful, tranquil get away this is the place. We meet with Steven who is Troy’s dad , a real pleasure talking to him. Very informative, answered ALL our questions, recommended places ,extremely helpful without being intrusive. I would highly recommend this gorgeous hideaway. JUST BEYOND WORDS. A real credit credit.

Staying at Mia Joy felt like a home from home. Therese was so kind .. left us bananas, apples, fruit juice, milk and tea cakes. She went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. We only wished we could have stayed longer and chatted more. 5 stars … we’ll be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Collette's beautiful guest house in Ballycastle. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Collette is an exceptionally accommodating host. She went above and beyond by leaving thoughtful extras in the fridge, such as butter and milk, and we were pleasantly surprised to find pancakes and chocolate bars in the cupboard—little touches that made us feel right at home. The guest house itself was immaculate, cozy, and well-appointed. Collette provided a comprehensive book with clear instructions on how to operate everything in the house, along with useful information like local taxi numbers and recommendations for nearby restaurants. It was incredibly helpful and demonstrated how much thought has gone into ensuring guests have a stress-free stay. I would highly recommend.

Joan welcomed us with a lovely friendly manner, showed us all around and how to use everything. fab welcome gift awaiting on arrival. had everything you need, spotless and private. We stayed as a Base to visit many places from Donegal to Ballycastle so was central for myself and partner. would definitely stay again and recommend.

We arrived at Ballyconnelly cottages, super jet lagged after arriving in Dublin in the morning, and touring Belfast that afternoon. The cottage was fantastic, Mark and Susan were super welcoming, and we felt right at home. We went to a local playground they suggested and our three kids LOVED it. We got home and our youngest crashed while our older kids played with theirs and then crashed and we all slept ten plus hours! We wished we had stayed longer!
